    FYI you attached the line to the wrong connection point on the deeper...get best result from shore use the bottom connection point so the sonar is correctly pointing down when reeling in :)

      Graham Haynes I’ve tried both ways and really haven’t had much of an issue. From a dock which is very similar to shore because you’re reeling it in The Deeper instructions tell you to use the middle one the same as you would use for a boat. How quickly you reel it back makes a huge difference as far as where the sonar is pointing as well. I don’t think it’s a specific science because as you seen in the video I got a pretty decent reading from the device. Thanks for watching and the advice and for anybody reading this comment Deeper recommends using the bottom attachment for sure use.

    Just some additional info I've noticed. At 90Hz the min depth is about 4 ft. At 290Hz the min depth is about 2.5 ft.

      That sounds about right I was dropping out around 3 to 3.5 on 90hz it depended on weed coverage.

    That is a very interesting sonar. You can cast and see if there are any fish before you throw your bait.

      Wayn Jul yes sir helped me define the weed lines, caught a lot of fish using the Deeper to find them.

    • @FishingPOV
      @FishingPOV  6 років тому +2

      BassGeek for sure, if you can’t afford the high dollar sonars this is a awesome alternative. And for the bank and kayak it’s a no brainer.

    • @FishingPOV
      @FishingPOV  6 років тому +2

      papis216 Relentlessbassman haven’t made one yet but if it’s a baitcaster Tackle Junkie has a great one. I haven’t been able to find any on Spinning. I’m going to need some real time to make that kind of video it takes a couple hours to break them completely down.

      @papis216relentlessbassman6 6 років тому +1

      Thx for the help bud ill check them out was looking to do both I couldn't find a vid on it looking foward when you have the time make one no rush need it by tomorrow lmfao going to have to crack one open was looking for the proper way to do it with messing up a expensive reel

    • @FishingPOV
      @FishingPOV  6 років тому +1

      papis216 Relentlessbassman take it apart one section at a time lay it out in the order you took it apart and clean each part in that section. Take pix with your phone if you have to. Do not use WD 40 on anything. I use Ardent or quantum hot sauce oil and grease products bearings get oil gears get grease don’t over do either.

      great207 thanks for watching and it’s a great no drill alternative for a kayak. Pro Plus has GPS for mapping which comes in handy as well.

    • @FishingAdventuresHB
      @FishingAdventuresHB 6 років тому +1

      Yeah it would take a bit of casting but I think once you have mapped it you have such a good advantage of knowing exactly where the holes are that fish might be lurking in. Beats fishing blind. Excellent job on the vids bro. Keep it up.
