Nice job. All it needs now to make it a stunning job is for Network rail to repaint the three span rail bridge.
THANKS for the videos. There are many reasons to go there. - really wish i could visit and walk around. Unfortune for me, I am mostly handicapped, over 80, and not in good health. The videos are then "a pleasure" for this old man. Again Thanks.
Good Morning Neil and Jack.
LOOK forward to next week now best Join up again 👍👍👍
Amazing to realise that once this is finished most if not all of the bare bones will be hidden away. I was particularly struck by this when you and Jack looked at the lift shaft as it is right now. What a pity there is no such thing as transparent concrete. I hope there is going to be some kind of celebration in the town when it's finished and at the very least some kind of commemorative structure for the people who put this all together.
Well done Neal and Jack great video and thank you for the update
Really interesting to watch this project 👍 👏👏
Can't wait to see it in June
Well done to all the guys working hard to get it finished
Great and very informative. What always strikes me is how difficult it must be to estimate the cost of a job like this during the tendering process.
WOW!! Looking so good!! Summer is calling!! (…station could use a sprucing-up; will painted areas be redone?)
Good morning both. I see you have sunshine. It's white sky here in Brum.
Great video thanks for the update
Hello Neil and jack thank you for another fantastic update well done guys 😊
Thank you Neil and Jack for another well done update video 🙂
Are they going to clean and repaint the railway bridge?
Absolutely magnificent progress, well done to all concerned. Btw, is that Rail Bridge going to get a lick of paint as well, because it certainly needs it!
WOW another great video Neil guys working so hard well to them all 😊
Good morning I have a question is the train Bridges being revamped as well just they do look kind of old and tired next to that nice new construction
@15:37 I bet within 20 years, this underpass under the railway bridge will have to be closed off and have protection and river pumps from higher tides. Let's make the most of it for now. Nice hard work done by all.
Is there any plans to paint bridge while this finishing work is being done would finish a top job off 😂😂😂😂
JACK Question.
Why is the stainless steel fencing at the stream outlet that crosses the bridge so much better, having closer gaps between the SS rope when there is a small wall behind it.
The SS fence around the stream under both bridges has larger gaps and a solid bar for young kids to sit on with a chance of them slipping into the stream and being sweeped away?
Hi just wondering as I’m wheelchair bound as you go under the underpass will there be access to join the sea wall to go into dawlish Warren
For much of the video I couldn't really hear the conversation, despite having the volume at 100%
WALKING and chatting sorry😂
I'ts a pity they can't build sea defences like these in Dover, just needs the 150mm guns from Longues-sur-Mer to complete the third reich look.
The Nazis didn’t bother with granite flooring for their gun emplacements though!
Give Europa the last battle a watch 👍🏻
Great coverage as always.
Does anyone know if there plans to repaint the 3 railway bridge spans?
They should, the new structures make the old look very shabby.
As I understand it there are no plans to paint the bridge unfortunately. At present it's an eyesore.
@@whoops607 Compared to the seawall cost, it would be pocket change.
@@JohnnyMotel99 Probably a different budget though 😞
