Thank you for getting right to the point from the beginning. I hate it when so many reviewers talk about complete nonsense the first couple of minutes. I'm glad I found your helpful & informative review. Subscribed!
Thank you as I just purchased my Sous Vide. Can you put several veggies and/or meats individually wrapped and cook at the same time? Maybe remove Veggies first and let meat continue to cook? Suggestions?
Great video! I just have one question..There have been many complaints of the high pitch sound that it makes while on. I tried to hear in your video but really could not. Is there a high pitch sound from this unit?
Great question. That typically happens when there is buildup on the water outlets. Here’s how to fix it:www.techgadgetscanada.com/joule-sous-vide-machine-whistling-fix/
Thank you for the review. Today's my first time using the Nano. I have 2 steaks with 2 different seasonings. Since the water warms up so fast I went and just set the meat in there when I set the temp/time on the Nano. I'm not worried about any beeps/warnings the bath is ready.
How is it working now in March 2022? I was wondering about longevity of these circulators. Maybe a commercial grade Sammic might be better in the long run.
These things cost a hundred bucks (for a no-name brand), if they fail in a few years, buy another one. If it doesn't fail, you've saved many hundreds over a commercial grade version.
Hi again, Erin!✨🤗✨ Getting ready to go downstairs and FETCH this device which was just delivered by the postal person - DING DONG! Can barely wait for sous vide steak - YUM! I just LOVE, LOVE LOVE Amazon 'Prime Member' one or two day delivery!
Hi Michael! Glad to hear you went ahead and got one. Amazon prime is extremely convenient, isn’t it? Good luck with your steak, let us know how it turns out!
I set the temp to 129F and the nano ran rage temp to 190f from my instant read thermometer and over cooking my filet minion. The timer never started . Any step by step instructions?
Great Review, I been in the culinary industry for years. And almost every professional kitchen has at least one sous vide. I even have the older original model myself
@@ErinLawrenceTV yupp pretty much all the time when I want to cook larger cuts of meat like pork loin. Or larger cuts of steak. I mean I don't cook often, but when I do, I use the Annova sous vide. However when I bought the older Annova sous vide they only made the one type of machine. Now they have a few options and alomg with there own vacuum sealer and well as you shown the tub they make.
Yep, I put the food in when it approaches the desired temperature, but there's no reason you can't do it earlier unless you're doing super time sensitive foods like maybe asparagus that only takes 30 mins.
Lots! Especially with that water container, you can definitely fill it. I’ve never measured the output in pounds, but I can put multiple bags of food in there
I would like to see you do a comparison video of the Anova vs the Strata Home by Monoprice Smart Sous Vide Precision Cooker, 1100 Watts... I have both, but I would be interested to see your views.
Hi Erin, As always a very interesting and informative review. You have convinced me that w/ the conventional electric range, microwave, and air fryer/oven that I already have I don't need to add a sous vide machine. (Question: "Do you use it to heat up your can of pork & beans?")
IDK feels like they are trying to re-invent the wheel. This seems like a high tech fish tank heater. I guess not everyone has been through the heat and pressure that I have in a professional kitchen. Nothing can possibly beat experience. Thank you for this video. I really think this product is not for me.
No prices? It would had been nice to get an idea of how much it costs compared to it’s competitors. Oh, I wonder about taste comparison between food, like a stew, cooked this way vs. a Crockpot (not a slow cooker, but a crockpot.) Yes, crockpots are slow cookers, but there are two big differences between actual crockpots and other slow cookers. I love crockpots and have been using them for about 30 years. The food is so much better and tastier since is cooks slowly, giving time for all the ingredients to release their flavor. So good! This device cooks food faster than a crockpot, so I wonder and taste comparison.
Every single sous vide on the market does what a nano does your just paying for the extra fluff and apps to do the exact same thing. Save your money and get the nano your never gonna need to sous vide something from work and your gonna google your recipes anyways so save the extra 150 and spend it on a food saver and some rolls and some prime streaks
This model STINKS. Brought it home, current temp does NOT move beyond 32.6 degrees, manually check and it’s almost 150 and climbing! Returning for a better model.

This is the way. It's not like you're going to overcook anything.
How is it working now in March 2022?
I was wondering about longevity of these circulators. Maybe a commercial grade Sammic might be better in the long run.
It’s good! I still use it sporadically. Seems to work fine.

We are obsessed. Do you use one at home too?

Literally typed sous vide and bam! Thank you, just got a nano and I needed a video like this.
Glad you like it!
How do you like it???
This video is fantastic. Tech reviewers like you are awesomely invaluable and there’s a definite lack of them on UA-cam. Thank you!
Excellent review Erin, thank you...
Thank you for watching it!
You don’t need a beep to inform you it’s reached temp, that’s the whole point to this device. Put the food in and walk away...done!

At about the @7:57 mark ... that give you the results that are most pleasing. ARF! lol ✨🤗✨
Thanks for the review. Now I'm gonna buy it!
😁
Beautiful!
Thanks for the nice review. How many lbs of meat can you cook in it? Can you put multiple bags in one cooking?

Hi Erin. Enjoyed your review of the Anova Nono Precision Cooker. Question: Will this device work with an 18 quart poly carbonate container and lid?
If the container is heat proof, I don’t see why not. We have used ours in a Home Depot bucket before…
Great review
Thank you so much 😊

Oh interesting! I haven't heard of the Strata. Will have to look it up.
Superb review, very informative.
Thank you 🙏
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it :)

Very nice
Finally I can make perfect medium rare chicken with this :)

Most professional kitchens have and use sous vide machines.

Lots of commercials. Gave you a thumbs down.
