Installing The Moeller Fuel Tank And Sierra External Filter on the Montauk 17 Restoration 18

In this video, I show how to Install the complete fuel system. We install the Moeller 22 Gallon Fuel Tank, the Yamaha Fuel Pipe" (as they call it) and a Sierra Fuel filter / Water separator and housing.
I used the Moeller #031626 22 Gallon Topside Fuel Tank on this Boston Whaler Montauk Restoration. This fuel tank is specially made to fit under the Classic Montauk RPS seat.

gday mate i use teflon tape on my fittings as well never had a problem as you say if you use some of the sealant over time they will go hard and crack

Same, Have never had an issue. I suppose if you are not careful putting the tape on and have overhand it could become an issue.

Hey Jose have you or anyone reading this ever used mercury quicksilver quickleen in the gas to clean the carburetor? What were the results? Any info would be awesome

We have used it before but more as a stabilizer and not a carburetor cleaner in a bottle.
