It's unfortunate that bad GPS is good for business. While it's easy to blame drivers for putting too much faith in GPS, we really should be blaming the GPS providers, especially Google, which many of these services now use, for their bad software and outdated maps. There's really no excuse, especially when the errors are reported and they still don't fix them. Anyway, excellent work once again by Team Sumter. This was a good demonstration of patience, knowing the limits and capabilities of your wrecker, and the importance of local knowledge. 🥇
Mr. Hal, Brings the Equipment, Experience and LOCAL KNOWLEDGE! another win for the Sumter Wrecking team and Mr. Hal. And folks that's some common stuff in this area of S.C. dirt roads, hunt club leases and club houses all over the countryside. Gary in H-Ville.
Another fantastic job by Mr. Hal and the Sumter Wrecker crew. You gotta love these South Carolina red clay roads. Again your knowledge and experience pays off and hopefully was a lesson for the younger guys.
I learned a long time ago that I had more time than money lol normally being impatient will cost you money love you videos be safe have a great day Sam
The skidsteer winchbox would have been the weapon of choice for that MUD. I hope Mr. Hal can get it worked out to get it built. Mr. Hal, did you get the "pens" I sent ??
Great job as always, there is nothing better than experience to learn when you know you need to do something that seems so wrong like leaving the road and at times even putting yourself in the ditch to do the job. I was once called to assist another tow company in another county on a icy country road and when I arrived with our 1965 International 1600 Loadstar oilfield winch truck that was much smaller than the wrecker already there the driver was furious that he was waiting for two hours and my company sent a toy truck, I asked him why he needed help and he said his truck wouldn’t set still even though he had chains on, when told him if he would move out of the way I would pull the guy out he laughed and said you haven’t even got chains on but I’ll move so I backed into the deep ditch on the opposite side pulled the truck out then chocked the wheels on the truck I pulled out and winched myself out of the ditch
That was a great recovery! I especially loved when said that you were fixing to do something you didn't want to do! We would say it differently up here in New York, but that's a story for another day!
Another outstanding job Sir. boy guess it's been longer than I thought since I was OTR because I dang sure don't ever remember CRST having a skateboard division.
CRST has always had skateboards! They company started off as a steel hauling company. CRST stands for Cedar Rapids Steel Transport. About 22 years ago they were my first OTR company I worked at. After 1.5 years there I got educated what other trucking companies were offering for compensation, & left when they refused to match said offers.
