11:29 = the *Little* Tennessee river, not the tn river.... Not to nit pick. Just drive that road all the time, great area... Thanks for posting such great chill Jeep videos for our entertainment and education!
12:35 is the top of cowee mt, that gate is always closed, there is a fire tire up there, it’s a dead end. You would have had to make a left a mile (or so) back, but that gate would have been closed during the winter :(
@@CoddiwompleOverland let me know if u all ever want a chaperone out in this area. I live near by and my family is always out camping or cruising around in a slightly modified Jeep tj (until I finish my xj build)
Absolutely love your videos. You are super informative and your narration is calm and enjoyable. Thanks for all the hard work you put into filming and editing. Also, the complete lack of techno music is fantastic.
Thanks for another great video. I can’t tell you how much of my campsite bucket list has come from your videos. I would also like to see a highlight video. Thanks!
The tellico plains area is a gym in Tennessee. And bald river falls is beautiful. And most people who go up there on vacation have never heard of it. We found it just wandering around. When we go to Tennessee. That's where we stay. No so touristy.
@@CoddiwompleOverland yea it was some of the funnest times I’ve ever had, built my Jeep up just for Tellico back in the day. Maybe one day Enjoy your videos 👍💥💯
Like others mentioned, this was a Back Home trip for me, especially the Tellico River area. My father's family was originally from there. Lotta memories,Thanks. Till next time, "Keep on Jeepin"...
I agree with others, a Highlight Video would be great! Enjoyed this video as all your videos. I’m with you on avoiding going further up the mountain. Happy Trails
Love that area! Very nice vid. We ran into those same dang gates heading south to Andrews via FS road out of Robbinsville over Vday weekend... Robbinsville has been our mountain getaway for about 4-5 years now. Amazing areas to explore. Show us the highlight reel!
THANK YOU 🙏 GORGEOUS LANDSCAPE VIEWS COLORS SCENERY BEAUTY & JOURNEY ! IF YOU DO SETUP THE VIDEO I WOULD WATCH IT YOU & YOUR WIFE DO AN EXCELLENT WORK 👌 BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! Great video! I’ve been scoping out routes to go to that area. Some of them are where y’all went. (You don’t share your GAIA routes somewhere do you?) Thanks a ton! I would love to see the highlight video.
If you are referring to the ice. Ice is not technical, it is dangerous. Especially on a forest service road that is out sloped to shed water. Thanks for watching!

Yea, we had planned on making that left and heading towards Robbinsville.

Enjoyed this installment. Liked the drone footage above the campsite and below tree top level.
Thank you!!

Your in my favorite part of the world. Its a lot easier to get around in the late fall, and not many people then either! Head back then.
Thanks for the info. We felt like we missed a lot because of closures...
Another great video! The scenery was beautiful, Can't wait until your next adventure!
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing. Just got a rack and rooftop tent. Over landing very soon. Keep giving me great inspiration

I’d love to see a highlight video! We have been studying the track this past week. We plan on doing the 1000 in June 👍🏼
smokey mountain 1000?
**edit*8 not sure how to edit previous post. I understand this was a bike track. Is this all possible in a truck? Sorry.
@@otis-xk6ib yes it’s possible for sure
Just like Highpoint said, it is all possible in a truck. It is all legal roads.
@@CoddiwompleOverland @highpoint overland Thanks!
Another great video , I was North Cumberland WMA that weekend and ran into the same issues.
Thanks! Must just be that time of year....
Y'all are awesome...straight up!!! Yes on the highlight vid...how much of the route you drove required 4x4??
Thank you! Actually, none of this route required a 4x4. But the scenery was awesome
What song is that? With the humming? Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.

1st spot is state line correct? Love the area and we're in birmingham.
Yes
@@CoddiwompleOverland we and another family went to north river and there. One other group at N.R. and no one at State line. It was great.
Do you have a recorded route of this leg? I would love to head up that way to photograph the area.
We do. Send us a FB or IG message with your email address
I'm curious how much did you guys add to the SM 1000? Or did you follow the GPX. Great video as always!
We did make a few detours. I would say that 90℅ or more was along the SM 1000
Is there a route description posted anywhere?
Sorry no route description that we are aware of.
Why turn around at the first technical challenge? Sorry, but you’ve got too much equipment not to use it.
