This is what I call music all that blood and sweat and tears that they've put into playing these instruments live nothing electronic here that's the best music you can get actual human beings playing instruments live
When I was a little girl in the sixties, my dad gave me his 78 collection. I played them instead of the Beatles. I remember playing Bizet Has His Day, - over and over, and being so intriged by it, I went and looked up Bizet in the encyclopedia, and then listening to the classical piece. This is what today's kids are missing!
I agree with part of what ur saying. but it was not just Germany u had to be careful in u had to be cautious in France. Because with certain divisions committing crimes that I won't name. France became dangerous as well during the 30s and 40s. I may not been born during this time but a lot of my uncles fought in this war and I keep up with a historical video game reenactment group. Who teaches a lot about this war that went on. In some parts of Europe it was great to be around others not so much.
And suddenly I hear a song Julio Iglesias sang to my mother and me in Amsterdam in the 1970s. So he was singing an old Spanish song! Recycling, they call it.
@ @ Tommy Dorsey East Of The Sun (And West Of The Moon.) This 1940 recording was arranged by Sy Oliver, one of the first African-Americans to become a staff member of a big swing white band. The vocalist is young Frank Sinatra and the trumpet soloist the incomparable Bunny Berigan.
Believe me; we've tried. Spotify aren't interested in using recordings from independent labels such as ours .... despite Past Perfect being in business for more than 25 year! We used to have all of our tracks there but they've removed nearly all now, in favour of similar tracks from the bigger labels (and ones that aren't remastered as expertly as our I might say!).
@@PastPerfectVintageMusic that's quite unfortunate. spotify is missing out, i'd generate so much revenue for you guys listening to the songs you put out
Old Souls always still come back. Thought I was an Old Soul too when I was much younger. Yet as I grew older, discovered I was just a middle-aged soul, albeit by others considered wise beyond my years, humbly speaking of course. And that wasn't a bad thing, neither. Enjoy it, even if others around you still don't. :-)

I love this old music. It makes me wish I lived in those days. Dancing the night away with the one I love the most
Bad things happened then. Especially if you were in Germany. If you were lucky enough you could find peace.

This is absolutely brilliant.
Even better than.
The music and the album covers are amazing! Art Noveau and Deco are my two favorites, but Deco is the greatest.
I'm loving this playlist.

And that was when Sinatra was just an artist and not a controller and the BIG BAND was in control. Sinatra stuffed everything up
