So I started trying to play this stuff when the Smiths were together (yes I'm old!). Pre internet I used to wear out walkman cassettes trying to figure it all out. That gave me great ear training, and got my fingers strong with all the contortions. I didn't know about overdubs so used to try and play it all. Now its truly amazing to come back to this and see the correct fingerings, I can play it fairly ok in 10 minutes. Thank you for this amazing channel!
You're great at these super difficult Smiths songs. I thought I'd never be able to crack them, but thanks to your videos and tabs, I'm now able to play songs like "William" and "Barbarism," which are two of my favorite pieces of Johnny's guitar work. Thank you so much for helping me and others like me with your videos, good sir. A request -- could you do a video/tab for "You Just Haven't Earned It Yet, Baby?" Johnny pulls some finger and wrist moves in that song that leave me at a total loss. Many thanks, again!
