My husband and I lived similarly to you and now, in our 40's we are able to do so much with our money. We can travel a few times a year, go out to restaurants every week, pay for both of our daughters' college (start college accounts now, if you haven't already), donate abundantly to charities and more. This will pay off (pun intended) for your family in the long run. Good Luck!

I love that idea! Identifying items or areas in your budget you want to spend less on is an awesome way to improve your finances without being too intense. You’re always so inspiring to me!
Get creative! We’ve done picnics at the park, game nights, pot luck dinners, movie nights, make your own pizza nights, etc. It can be challenging to come up with ideas but it’s also so fun to mix it up from just sitting down at a restaurant together!
