Bought my TMA-1 I think around 2012 the Fools gold edition, after heavy 2 years of use, the Headband broke in the midle, my warranty was over since 1 year, I wrote AIAIAI to ask if they could sell me some replacement parts, 1 weak later they delivered a Brand new replacement model for absolutely free, knowing they were more than 1 year out of warranty, AIAIAI is definitely a superior brand that can be trusted. I do believe they have the best audio quality for this price range. I have contact with many professional musicians, they couldn´t believe my earphones costed 200pounds, I had the chance to use 2000euros Hearphones and I can tell you the difference is not so far, the DJ edition maybe miss a bit of Treble but out of this all good
The funny thing is from watching the video on them from the company and watching them bend the headband back and fourth and twisting it I took it as the headband was indestructible but I guess it can break!
i just got the tma 2 dj presets i love them crazy bass but not sloppy vary nice and punchy only thing i dont like is the 02 cups i find they hurt my ears they press my ears into my head too hard so i can only wear them for like an hour then i have to take a break because my ears get sore but other then that these are amazing just got to get 03 cups and im good to go these headphones are a bit expensive in canada at about 280.00 i got then on sale for 229.99 but in my opinion worth it thanks for your video brother
How good is the All Around set (with the S01earcups) compared to the DJ TMA2 set? Might buy the all around set but I need it for DJ'ing. The DJ's cost way more tho.
Is it possible to exchange the TMA-1 Pads with the studio pads from the TMA-2? From some pictures the little pins looks the same. If you could test this out - this would help me a lot!
+Elieem L Nope. The TMA-2 Headband has a cable with plugs embedded. The TMA-1 drivers don't have plugs. Just write to AIAIAI - they will either send you a new headband or upgrade you to a TMA-2
I'm looking for a headphone that has a good bass and is more flexible on the strap, unfortunately my last ones broke on the strap, so it needs to be a good one, more flexible, durable.
from what i know of their design, they're styled after the silhouette of a headphone, & the matte black color & the TMA name are drawn from the Tycho Magnetic Anomalies of 2001: A Space Odyssey. so i wouldn't say their look is an uninspired one. it's just understated & quite minimal. what headphones are good looking to you? (Not trying to be antagonistic just curious!)
Ian Fitzpatrick no problem man, everybody has his own different ideas! For me, the best design award goes to V-moda, which are also customizable with your taste. Then I like very much the pioneer headphones (1000-1500, not really the 2000); but the one that I really love are the AKG K-181 DJ, and it's because I've some kind of emotional bond with them! Not to mention the Beats, wich are really overrated, but they are pretty beautiful.
Francesco Morello Not at all. As a designer, these are perfect. Utilitarian, and all matte, monochrome gives it a professional look and feel. They're about to become a staple in DJ equipment like Techs. Techs also have a really timeless design like that.

+Luca Leresche (Ultra) Same happened here. :-)

I just came here to hear someone pronounce "AIAIAI"
Same, I wasn't disappointed
I pronounce them Aiaiaia, but my mate reckons it’s aiaiaia.
recently got the all rounds, just for listening to music, also use it on my playstation. honestly love them
My TMA-1 (first series) is still going strong. Nothing ever broke. Just replaced the pads...
aiaiai tma 2 dj preset or Sennheiser HD 25? for DJing
Can you fit a normal jack without the locking mechanism?
I don't know anywhere local that would let me test them but you've made me consider going with studio preset now. Already had TMA1s.
AIAIAI is also going to offer upgrade kits in the future to convert existing TMA-1 units to TMA-2 Modular units!

How’s the isolation on those E04 ear cups? I’ve previously had a pair of HD25s. Thanks!
Thank for that Mo
The problem with the headband broken easily at the first version was fixed bro?
Will the TMA-1 earpads fit on the TMA-2?
Where can I buy the studio earpads for my TMA-1 ?
blue light is blinking and can't connect to my phone, does not see it(
is anybody working with the studio present while producing? i really want to know how efficient they are in the real world studio use.

+alsebka Yes, they are interchangeable. I have both. Cables are interchangeable too.
thanks a lot!
There is any way of using the headband of the aiaiai tm2 to replace a broken one for the aiaiai tm1?

cool video...
Hello :D What version of driver should I buy if I Want DJ?
Nathan Baugnies dj version
S02 has a bit more bass than the beats by dre. I use em with fiio k3, sounds great and are very comfortable I must say. Money well spent!😎
Fucking brilliant. Can you fold them flat? Not a crucial issues but I'm curious.
+DJ alt.rock nope
nice but the hd-25s are right there for you with money left over for some tunes.
Hd-25 is a better choice
gg

Great headphones but ugly as f...
what's so ugly about them?
Maybe it's just a matter of taste, surely they are good in terms of audio and built quality , but they are very poorly designed.
