Hi, I have a question for you.. we just got a imperial shih tzu yesterday and we are super excited to have him. We were told that he was 6 weeks old yesterday but as we finally got home and started thinking about it he actually just turned 5 weeks old and we feel like he really was too young to be taken from his mom. We drove out of town to get him so we couldn't take him back for now. Ok my question is we've tried taken him outside to potty he just shakes and seem terrified so we bring him back in. Is it ok for now to just keep him in the pen with pads till he gets a little old to start be taken outside?.. we're.wanting to potty train but is he too.young right now?.

Dont bring your dog yet outside he is too young . for me , i started bringing spencer and bailey outside when their first set of shots are done because you'll never know what is outside . i just dont want them to get sick :) pee pad is the key . try to give him a treat everytike you see him pee on the pee pad :) for sure he is just afraid to be outside for now but when he gets use to it he will be fine . :)
Ok thank you so much..we used pee pads last night on one side of the pen and he use the restroom on the pads so we were happy and thankful...thank you your response and I input I hope your babies are doing well also and we will countine to support your channel...👍

How much ? I have an 8 week old and they told me 15 counts of the little peace’s of food 2 times a day. But he’s soo hungry idk if that’s correct
i gave them acana puppy food
if you think your dog is still hungry you can give a lil bit more . some dogs are so active they get hungry easily
