I lost my MTC range finder at night whilst hunting hogs so I am thinking about buying the new Version 2. The old RF had this very handy blue tooth feature which works by app and connects the RF via your smart phone to an ear piece. Thus you can receive range and angle and resulting hold for both wind and elevation without fiddeling with your phone. Neither the MTC website nore your review mentioned this feature with the new RF. Not available with the new apparatus?
I noticed on their web site they show a squirrel and 35.2 either yards or meters . the specs has +or - one yard or one meter accuracy . but it doesn't say what increments it will measure . If its showing a meter range plus a decimal point with another number how can it be plus or minus a full yard or meter off ? At what range do the decimal not appear ? Have you measured a distance with a tape measure and checked its accuracy ? If not will you do some test out to 55 yards .and then to 100 yards ? Having a decimal point number and a 1 yard inaccuracy range does not seem right . What the range finder is saying is you might be shooting at something 35.2 yards away or it may be 34.2 or even 36.2 . Will you please check its accuracy including its decimal point . example measure with a tape measure 55 yards and place a object and also have a object at 54.5 yards and see if it will measure it correctly . Had they been instructed by the manufacturer that the function was there and how to do it then they probably would have put it in the manual mate. Darryl

If it's less than 500 quid it can't be any good.
you would have thought they would have put the information on how to adjust the reticle brightness in the owners manual

yes by using the mode button on the top, theres also a scan function where it tells you the distances as you pan round
