I actually work in a mountain warehouse and for a 40L bag this is the one of ours I would recommend. Ive used it for lots of trips over the course of a year and the long straps allowing you to put things on the outside of the bag is really what sells it for me.
@@manchuk1d thats what i used i for too, ive got an osprey now which was significantly more expensive and a little bigger, but this ones just useful for shorter trips im sure ill still use it from time to time
Just watched this on return from a brief interrailing trip using my old Ventura 40 I’d forgotten about. Must have predated your model as it has the metal back. Thank you for pointing out the pockets on the waist strap and one or two other things I’d missed! Feel it’s going to get a lot more use…
I bought this last year to walk the Camino De Santiago and it was perfect. My only gripe is that my hydration pouch was difficult to fill up when the pack was full also the sternum strap can't be moved on mine.
All the best to you and thanks for the review however for your sleeping bag this is why the longer straps these packs are made for camping you can get a tactical bag of the same litres and can section the compartments some tactical bags are even reaching 65 litres like tasmanian tiger brand but they are more than very solid , ver very heavy and extremely expensive , good luck with whatever you do
I got this when my granite gear bag broke on the swcp. I cna honestly say this pack is AMAZING FOR WOMEN, it fits on the waist, is heavier at the base, and the shoulder straps actually fit someone with a short torso rather than the stanard 5ft 6+... Seriously, can anyone make an ultralight pack for short women?? 😂😂
Looking for a good backpack such as this with women's fit, but that I could also squish enough so that I could fit it under the seat on a Ryanair flight. Is that too cheeky to try with this pack? thanks
Hey! Is it waterresistant on it's own? You are really convincing.... Thought about stratos 34 and the Diamond candy 40 as well. Now you got me of guard and I have to reevaluate >_
Haha thanks for watching and sadly not, I recommend using the rain cover with this one. It’s a good pack at its price point for sure! Really glad you enjoyed the video.
I bought this to walk 4km to work daily. I'm a woman and bougt the female fit. The brace digs into my back so i took it out. Too long of straps for me (im slim) otherwise, great for what i need it for.
"I haven't actually worn this myself but..."
The best reviews come from people that don't use the product.
Honesty is the best policy. Thanks for watching 👍
I unzipped the partition between the top and bottom compartment and turned the bag into just one compartment!
I just purchased this for £24.99, Absolute bargain! Thank you for the review, I love the honesty
Thanks for the review. When flying, were you able to use it as a “carry on” or did you have to check it under the plane? Thanks!

@@peterjones5493 you think someone can pull it off backpacking with this bag? Lol
@@manchuk1d depends how far ur walking but I’m sure u could

Just won an auction for one of these with no opposition. £0.99 +postage. Looking forward!

I love the long straps better than shorter ones you can get molle web elastic string to tie the long straps , to make them out of the way

Hi Jonathan, I am doing the Camino too. Would you please tell me if there is place to hang up the Walk sticks? Thanks
@@cristinafflores i used telescopic poles and there are a couple of bungees/straps that can be used to hold them.

I am also a fan of light weight backpack. Any recommendation? Thanks
It’s there a way to fit a tent inside/attach to the outside comfortably
You can feed a tent through the compression straps on the bottom
Can that bottom compartment fit a decent sized sleeping bag? Or is it too small? Thanks mate
Might be able to get a really light weight down bag in there. But I probably won’t try. Haha thank for watching!
@@thetrailhunter4469 no problem, thank you sir!
Does it only open from the top?
Great review, camera all of 30cm from your face with us unable to even see the bag. GOOD WORK.
I have the green 1 i like it i go camping and ive got enough stuff in mine to last a week
what's the weight of this backpack?

Has your partner tried it for walking now? Wonder if you have nay updates?
Do you know where the pack is made?

Can the zippers be padlocked for travel?
Hi Raegan. You could but if someone really wanted to break into it a padlock wouldn’t suffice. I guess padlock is still better than no padlock. 👍
Not that comfortable,I notice that after up grading to 65 l me carrion pack which was very comfortable but is good quality for the price
It’s a bag, it would make sense to have shots of you wearing the damn bag
Now now. Don’t throw your toys out yer pram.
Isaac Newton must have skipped past the 30/40 second mark
Venture is for men. Ventura is the women's fit range.
Too close to the camera pal
