    My neighbor is a self- employed truck driver and a pastor of his own church. I was told that he fraudulently writes off his purchases of vehicles and real estate by attaching them to his business and no doubt his "church" too. He has a fleet of new cars, trucks a boat, etc. and he is always buying more. Plus he buys land and claims it as a tax deduction. Why hasn't he been audited by now?

  • @ccagle17922
    @ccagle17922 5 місяців тому +2

    A good way to get audited is to have an enemy. Many audits are triggered by someone that has a grudge against the taxpayer (ex-spouse, terminated employee, jealous neighbor, etc.) reporting the taxpayer for tax evasion.

    funny thing is taxation is extortion which is technically the true crime here. the people in power want you to believe that taxes is a necessary evil and that not paying them is a crime. what's really going on is that tax evasion is not a crime, it's only a crime in the eyes of those in power. tax evasion is really just a defense mechanism that challenges taxation and is used to protect yourselves from being taxed. see they did reverse psychology on people to think good is evil and evil is good or taxes is good and tax evasion is evil, when it's the opposite. all you are is a slave to those in power without really realizing it. people not just in america but in every country is brainwashed this way and some sense. indoctrination is a powerful thing, don't underestimate it.

      The federal income tax as written in the Internal Revenue Code is Constitutional. The Direct taxing clause in Article 1, section 2 of the US Constitution prevents Congress from directly taxing Americans' income. If there was a law in the Internal Revenue Code imposing a tax on the income of Americans earning income within the 50 States, then that law would be unconstitutional. But there is not. What we have is an illusion of an income tax, but there is none in law.

    How can you/anyone be prosecuted for "tax evasion" when there IS no tax to evade. Google 26 CFR 1.0-1 paragraph (d). Passed into LAW by the 83rd Congress. Paragraph D clearly says that TAXABLE YEARS ENDED on August 16 1954!!!! This guy is full of crap as any enforcement of the non- existent 'tax" took place on the DAY AFTER the day of enactment which is August 17, 1954 but on that day there was/is NO tax to ENFORCE as the "tax" died/expired the day before on August 16, 1954!!! The IRS exists/operates on 100 percent lies, intimidation and extortion.

      didn't mention the number 1 reason ppl get audited, which is bank deposits over $10k, since 1970 banks have been required to report deposits over $10K to the IRS (it's pretty hard for the rich to tax evade while using US banks.

      @@LYFEAccounting no, not exactly. Resist Tyranny. Tell the truth about the income tax. Tell the truth about Social Security. There is no law requiring Americans to have or use a SSN to earn a living in America. There is no law requiring Americans to sign a W-4 or a W-9. The ONLY way the IRS could possibly threaten you with liens and levy's is if you tell them how much money you are making, or 3rd parties tattle tale to the IRS how much money you are making by sending them W-2's or 1099's. Without W-2's or 1099's being sent to the IRS, the IRS would not have a clue how much money millions of Americans are making! American businesses need to be educated that they are NOT Withholding Agents as defined in the Internal Revenue Code. They are not required by law to withhold income taxes from Americans. They are not required to acquire Social Security Numbers from their workers!! Americans need to be told the truth about Social Security and the income tax! home.hiwaay.net/~becraft/ScottSSNLetter.pdf

    You make no sense. Only ave 1500 cases of tax evasion, 150 million people file and you're telling people to be careful cause you will go to prison. I'm sure about 75 million people lie on their taxes, yet only 1500 cases. That's not even jail sentences, that's just court cases. On top of that, that's for people who make hundreds of thousands or millions. I really don't think they will send a person who owes the IRS 3k or less to prison.

    • @LYFEAccounting

    • @agmatc1391
      @agmatc1391 Рік тому

      These 1,500 cases are CRIMINAL tax evasion. You're talking about CIVIL tax evasion.
      There's no statute of limitations for tax evasion, but they have up to 3, 6, or 10 years to prosecute you for tax evasion.
      So if you're committing tax evasion, you would be better off paying money than serving jail time.
      I'm not saying that you can and should commit tax evasion, just the penalties of CIVIL tax evasion and CRIMINAL tax evasion are different and the penalties of CIVIL tax evasion is less severe than CRIMINAL tax evasion as the only difference is avoiding jail time in CIVIL tax evasion. Your credit score may still be impacted by CIVIL tax evasion, though.
