    How do we know that Garry is not wrong about the minimal facts?

      That’s a very reasonable question. If the “minimal facts” are faulty, the whole argument goes nowhere.
      The research on the resurrection that he is referring to, done by Garry Habermas and Michael Licona (found in their book, The Case For The Resurrection Of Jesus) does not present their personal opinions as the “minimal facts,” but those things that are universally agreed upon by scholars. It’s true that the scholars could be wrong about those “minimal facts,” but we should at least try to understand why they all agree on them, and, if we disagree with them, have good reasons for doing so. Wallace’s argument is that, if we accept those “minimal facts,” then resurrection of Jesus is the best explanation of them.
