I helped take care of my grandma in the final stages of her dementia and this episode and song always reminds me of her and makes me cry. Such an amazing and deep show for a show made for "kids"

It was designed in such a way that every kid that watched it when it came around grew with the show and it’s characters allowing you to further understand the deeper concepts that flew over your head at first because you didn’t understand or sympathize with it yet.
I remember being younger and not understanding my parents' explanations of why it wasn't my grandpa's fault that he couldn't remember fairly basic stuff like my name or where he was, and then watching those two episodes. People really don't give media aimed at a younger demographic enough credit for how it can reframe situations and promote empathy in kids who otherwise can't really grasp the full scope of problems.
