WELL, WHAT THE HECK....I was right feeling the price would be out this month...but not just over a COUPLE hours from us doing this video.....WOW.....CHECK THIS OUT Chevrolet will begin accepting orders for the 2025 Corvette ZR1 in mid-February, at a starting MSRP* of $174,995 (including $1,695 DFC) for the 1LZ coupe and $184,995 (including DFC) for the 1LZ hardtop convertible. The 2025 Corvette ZR1 is available in two trims - 1LZ and 3LZ. All 2025 ZR1s come standard with: A hand-assembled 1,064 hp twin-turbo V8 engine Visible carbon fiber roof Carbon ceramic brakes Performance Data Recorder Carbon fiber ground effects and side intakes
Come on Rick, waited all month for this day. It's my birthday today and a call from you saying that you have an allocation for me for the Eray would be niiiiice....Come on Ricky, make the call!😂😂😂
Fun video Rick - seeing inside the ever-working mind... I am sticking with $174,995 starting (and growing quickly!) You need a Z06 for your next car, hands down. The problem with the E-Ray - if you want to track it - is that some/many tracks will not allow EVs or Hybrids due to not having proper fire suppression capabilities.
Hi Rick, As always love your channel your awesome. Happy 30th Anniversary what a milestone achievement selling C4, C5, C6, C7 & C8 Corvettes and building lifelong relationships with so many customers. I also agree with you on the starting price of the ZR1 at $149,995.
That's amazing Rick that's exactly the price I commented on one of your videos months ago $149,995 for the base ZR1 you are the go to guy for correct C8 information.
Rick, loved today's upload. You make these videos in such a way that I feel we are having a regular conversation about whatever your topic or topics are. Thanks. I agree about your C9 recommendation m, regarding a battery door for ease of access. Or better do it now for the remainder of C8 production and carry it into C9!
I was planning to call you tomorrow about my glass top. I’m glad I didn’t rip into the factory and the glass top. The detailer still has my Z06 till Monday 😮 then it’s play time 😊. Rick let me know when I can come get my ZR1 hehehe.
I agree the battery should be more accessible and I also wish that just like you can let the top and the windows down with the fob, we should be able to let them up also.
Hope the ZR1 starting pricing is no more than you suggested at $149k, but since GM has been selling Z06's in the $130-170k range I think the starting price will be around $160k. My biggest concern will be the maintenance of the LT7 as many dealerships will need a dedicated technician like Chuck to work on these engines.
Keep in mind that 168,680 C8 Corvettes have been produced!! So maybe it is understandable that just MAYBE a few parts run a little bit short... I think they use 50 Promotional editions in ADDITION to the TWO actual Pace Cars... so they get 52 cars total ...
Hey Ricky, just a suggestion here, for your next track day event @NCM MSP can we also do a "full-track" lap times competition (like a level 2 or 3 track event, and no lead-follow - solo or with an instructor) for a trophy, and not just the autocross comp in the paddock area..? Not sure if the NCM MSP folks will let you do a track lap times comp as well here..? On the track (not autocorss) I have a much better chance of beating you..! LMAO..!
I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I started reading pricing figures before thumbing up the video… I promptly paused and corrected my error. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 Dibs on a track day spot.!.!. Semper Fidelis.
The amount of non-sensical, unnecessary, irrelevant babble in your videos renders them unwatchable. Get on with the topic promoted in the video’s title and get out of the echo chamber.
I'm guessing $180k base which means $200k if you want the floor mats lol dealer markups...$400+ for EARLY deliveries...unfortunate! But hey at least its coming
154,995 base, 220k(convertible with all packages) maxed out. Hoping this is the case, cause I really want to add a lot of carbon fiber to my build. Time will tell.
I’m thinking 175K base price , with loaded up cars well into the 200’s . Dealer markup I fear will push this into the 300K range . Sad thing I fear is the dealer network falling on its face service wise as most don’t have a father Chuck to work on these beasts ! I know I wouldn’t trust my local dealer to work on mine ( that’s why I bought my c7 from Rick and I’m 650 miles away ) . I struggle to even get an oil change without issues locally
I am gonna make a roast video soon about chevy the dealers and this whole DCT debacle. Main issue is the price some dealers charge. Fluid is 500.00 filter is 150.00. 650 in parts. 2.5 hours is the labor to do the job. It's so easy its sad. Had i had a lift i would have done it myself. 200.00 labor charge times 2.5 is 500.00. Cost was 1170.88 Dealers in alabama all wanted 1800 to 2000.00. Dealers in Atlanta wanted 1200.00. I did not want to drive 2 hours round trip plus wait time. Found a local shop that does all the track cars locally for Barber motorsports. They knocked it out this morning. Shop was full of c8 , Porsches and BMW. A real pro shop. There needs to be a standard price to change the filter and drain and fill of the DCT Fluid after year 3. What is sad is the dealer rate per hour is not that much more than the shop i had it at today. So where is the additional 600 bucks going to ?? Its stealing. I paid MSRP for Fluid and Filter. The rest is labor. The book literally says 2.5 hours for the job. It took about 2.5 hours. I was there at the shop the entire time talking cars with some of the guys at the shop. It's not any more difficult to change the dct fluid then an average oil change. The biggest pain is the large number of bolts for the covers you have to remove to access the DCT filter.
GM is into its 6th model year for the C8 and there’s still constraints. That’s just pathetic. With the amount of buying power they have, there should be no constraints for wheels, carbon fiber, etc. The after market carbon fiber is better than what comes from the factory anyway.
GM needs to put pressure on their suppliers to end constraints. Constraints on black wheels is idiotic in this day and age. MARY, if you follow Rick's page, do your CEO thing !!!.
GM needs new leadership. a lot of these parts can be made in house and it's time they do it. Unbelievable we are going into 2025 and there's STILL constraints. I'm sure there are still customers that haven't even received their z06 from opening day orders. And during all this, they are leaving it to the dealers to take the shit from customers. Unbelievable
Think you are a bit low on the ZR1. GM greed will push the basic price on the ZR1 to $189,995.99. Then dealers add a $100-150K markup (more greed), and you will be in the $300K range for the 2025s. I hope you are right, but I do not see it.
WELL, WHAT THE HECK....I was right feeling the price would be out this month...but not just over a COUPLE hours from us doing this video.....WOW.....CHECK THIS OUT

Rick you are my dealer and I am glad to give you $140K for my ZO6. You are awesome. November order cycle

Appreciate the info Rick. Can’t wait to order my zr1 😉
I’m not worried about the price of a ZR1. I’m going to WIN mine🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞😂😎
Lol same
Initial price of base c8 was 5
$59995 so I say ZR1 base starts at $159995
ALWAYS GREAT stuff with you Rick. Your love and Passion for this car is contagious my friend

Yo Rick my dude, i think you have been using Squalane oil.....Y KNOT...i'm 75 and just love my 2011 gear jammer vette in Supersonic Blue Metallic.
Thanks for the up to date information, Rick!
That's amazing Rick that's exactly the price I commented on one of your videos months ago $149,995 for the base ZR1 you are the go to guy for correct C8 information.
Always good information Rick!
Hi Joe!!!
Your order will ship tomorrow my dear❤
Thanks buddy
One thing you can say about your channel and Corvettes.....it's always exciting!
😢hanks Rick! Always great information.
Well, I have to replace the automatic transmission like everybody else does

Looking forward to getting my C8 this year! I will be in touch, Rick!
Can’t wait to see you on the octane. Hour! How cool!
I agree the battery should be more accessible and I also wish that just like you can let the top and the windows down with the fob, we should be able to let them up also.
I’m still struggling trying get my stingray so I know zr1 be way to much lol, Don’t like they got rid of the frunk though.
Love the ZR1
I am sure the true number one option is the battery maintainer.
I WILL be there Rick!!!❤❤😂🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
A lot of folks were correct at around $175k. Good show and good seeing you today.
Hopefully I get my Z06 this year.
Hey rick will the zr1 be available without carbon roofs
We do not have the order guide yet...I hope there is some flexibility with that, but I bet there will not be
Okay that's what I thought
The used yellow z06 is nice!!!
Thumbs up, Comment, Done !
I think it's going to start at $175,000 Dealer markup $200,000. I'm hopping that would bring down on the Z06.
I was pretty close in my guess, awhile ago when you asked this question. I guessed $199,999.00
Rick, could you see GM producing a C8 Z06 with the electric front drive system?
What a car that could be.
I agree 150+ keeps it real.hate to see the dealer mark up lol
Hope the ZR1 starting pricing is no more than you suggested at $149k, but since GM has been selling Z06's in the $130-170k range I think the starting price will be around $160k. Correct because most dealers have there head up there ass. Problem today can u afford the service and repairs
Hey buddy, get your 4x4 vette out in the snow!!!! (Never thought I’d ever type those words…and my C8 is happily tucked away in my heated garage).
$179,999 and 250k+ loaded
Keep in mind that 168,680 C8 Corvettes have been produced!! So maybe it is understandable that just MAYBE a few parts run a little bit short...
I think they use 50 Promotional editions in ADDITION to the TWO actual Pace Cars... so they get 52 cars total ...
What time for the Brink of Speed video??????????

Wow ! Price in Canada probably start over 200k, it will be a very very low production model in Canada! Killer Vett though
If you track 150000 sounds good
I want the ZR1 price to start @ $129k so I can afford it!
The constraints are honestly brutal at this point.
200k to start 😮
with all the added carbon fiber and ceramic brakes, along with the engine - ZR1 starting at $174,995! (talk about constraints!))
I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I started reading pricing figures before thumbing up the video…
I promptly paused and corrected my error. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Dibs on a track day spot.!.!.
Semper Fidelis.
My starting price guess for the ZR1 is between 150 to 160K.
I know multiple people who have been quoted $300,000 with the dealer mark ups.
Ill be curious to know of when GM will actually release the price for the ZR1 instead of everyone having to guess.
The amount of non-sensical, unnecessary, irrelevant babble in your videos renders them unwatchable. Get on with the topic promoted in the video’s title and get out of the echo chamber.
Lighten up Francis
@@sdsmt99Nope, the content is vacuous and you know it.
I'm guessing $180k base which means $200k if you want the floor mats lol dealer markups...$400+ for EARLY deliveries...unfortunate! But hey at least its coming
I don't know about 149K, with C8 prices tanking and some dealers offering deep discounts it might be possible.
Anything around $150k, even in a base 1LT would be a bargain for the ZR1…imho
Car and Driver has disclosed pricing.
I've got 159,900 in my head (but no rhyme nor reason), just my guess.
I think 189,900
I am thinking zr1 price will start at 175k and run up to 250k
A few short hours later and Car and Driver announces the ZR1 price at $175000.
154,995 base, 220k(convertible with all packages) maxed out. Hoping this is the case, cause I really want to add a lot of carbon fiber to my build. Time will tell.

Let the Whacky ' begin !! 50K fer 2 turbo's (25K each)
When are you going to talk about ZR1
155K Base
GM is into its 6th model year for the C8 and there’s still constraints. That’s just pathetic. With the amount of buying power they have, there should be no constraints for wheels, carbon fiber, etc. The after market carbon fiber is better than what comes from the factory anyway.
I AGREE
$179,995 is my guess.
ZR1 base $179,900
Unfortunately, it’s not the price that the Corvette ZR1 is msrp it will be the dealers mark up 😞
180-190k base
I say 155, 000!
I feel like I am on The Price is Right. I'll go with 159500.
220k
Ricky at your $159,995 GM is giving that vehicle away….My guess is at $174,995….Loaded at $ 259,995
I'm with you: 149900
I think $ 175,00
$155k-170k base car.👍
The ZR1 1LZ Coupe $139,795
$179,000 starting price
ZR1 1LZ Coupe... STARTING AT ... $174,995 / Convertible 1LZ $184,995
ZR1 3LZ Coupe,,, STARTING AT ... $185,995 / Convertible 3LZ $195,995
Plus the DFC (Destination Freight Charge) $1695
We’re still waiting for that 2020 $59,995 price that never happened because of greedy dealers. So $149,900 no freakin way
They’re coming. Some used examples are finally below 50k
GM needs to put pressure on their suppliers to end constraints. Constraints on black wheels is idiotic in this day and age. MARY, if you follow Rick's page, do your CEO thing !!!.
$159k starting price
Probably $159,000 because of availability ..
$180k
ZR1 $180K staring price
GM needs new leadership. a lot of these parts can be made in house and it's time they do it. Unbelievable we are going into 2025 and there's STILL constraints. I'm sure there are still customers that haven't even received their z06 from opening day orders. And during all this, they are leaving it to the dealers to take the shit from customers. Unbelievable
Rick should drive the pace car. GM
Think you are a bit low on the ZR1. GM greed will push the basic price on the ZR1 to $189,995.99. Then dealers add a $100-150K markup (more greed), and you will be in the $300K range for the 2025s. I hope you are right, but I do not see it.
No way is anyone buying a C8 ZR1 for less than the current prices of a C7 ZR1.
Check out the price of a mustang code red.
I'm not worried about the price I'm going to steal one and drive it like so
Base price for a ZR1: $179,999.
$169K
I know the price wi be close to 200 thousand plus options, have u priced these poor quality parts Chevrolet shops for.
ERAY NOT Needed IMO
$174995
Strahan shouldn't be driving the pace car
Hi Rick! First!❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
