FLW BFL 4th Place - High Rock Lake Tournament Recap

- What a day on High Rock Lake! I finished 4th in the BFL this past weekend as I weighed in 17lbs 5oz of bass. I am very humbled with my finish however I'm not even close to being satisfied. I want more... a lot more. Check out the video to see just how everything went down at High Rock.

Congratulations again on your finish. After watching the way you try to take care of your coangler, makes me want to see you succeed than all of your previous videos added together. I have always followed you and your tournaments but a lot of guys would have never thought about their co. I was a co in a tournament on Buggs in 1991 and had a kidney stone attack and my partner was not happy he had to take me to the ramp so I could go to the hospital even though he was in 2 place and had big fish for the day of a BASS federation state tournament. So I know how some guys treat their cos. You were a great ambassador for the sport I have enjoyed since the late 1970’s. I have fished more tournaments than I care to remember and my main goal now is to help others enjoy the sport. But today you showed me more than a great fisherman who knows how to put in the hours to be successful. You showed me what it looks like to be a great man and mentor to an upcoming adult. Thanks for sharing your great tournament finish on my favorite lake but mainly thank you for being a great person!

That’s an awesome day. You will be the reason that kid continues to fish. I’m sure most tournament guys would be annoyed that a 16 year old kid is their co angler. Congrats on the finish, it’s well earned and respected for being a great fisherman and an even better person.
The Struggle was real for me down there. I tried everything and never could find them offshore in that yellow water. Glad some guys found them though....congrats!
