- “To be a great leader, you have to be a great follower first.” Diana Taurasi is the most accomplished women’s basketball player of all time, yet still believes she has to prove to herself everyday that she is on the level of her competitors. She sits down with the Warriors President and GM Bob Myers to discuss why she has yet to retire from the game and what she has left to accomplish. Taurasi tells Bob about her desire to be a GM when she calls it quits, while Bob tells her the most challenging parts of the job. She details her relationship with Kobe Bryant and pushes back on the narrative that she’s a trash talker, despite a lot of evidence to the contrary. Also, we learn which 3 NBA players have the distinct honor of being her favorites!

Diana is a very good conversationalist..could be a really good coach someday or commentator is she choses...
Diana come play for the warriors Bob I'd pay u 150 million 😂😂😂😂😂
I feel like I was watching a low-key job interview
Where they talk honestly about players and their attitudes towards professionalism and respect for those they work for, it's spot on.
The current NBA product lacks serious quality of team(s). People want to dismiss their behavior as breaking through boundaries, which can be a good thing. But, like they said, it's gone too far.
Having said that, you can't blame it all on the players, there are many contributing factors. But, once they enter college, now that they're paid there too, it's up to their leaders to ensure they become and behave as professionals.
Unfortunately, there is a massive lack of leadership in this country. Sports is just a microcosm of how bad it is. The people at the top of all these organizations are gutless. They get paid sooo much money, and they all just cower when presented with resistance from the people that work for them. It's pathetic, not to mention it's destroying the quality of the games they're supposed to be guardians of.
Warriors have one to many podcaster lol
