Hey, thanks for the videos. The Contant really helps trying to get into car hauling doing my research. Is there anyway you could do Detroit trying to stay local within about 300 miles.
@@carhaulingjoe no that’s the problem joe I need to have the mc and dot number to have access the load board. And like you said if I get numbers and doesn’t get comercial insurance In few months I lose the numbers right ?
So the FMCSA application is good for 60 days. You want to have everything taken care of before those 60 days are up. Everyone has a waiting period of at least 21 days one the application is file. You want to make your insurance active around that 17 day mark if you are ready to roll. If not that 60 day timeline gives you a little more time you can wait before making your insurance active. In order to get access to most load boards you will need those numbers. Don't get stuck on the load boards, you be able to get vehicles. If you have your truck, trailer, and you are in the financial position to get started, that should be your goal. If you play what if game, it will delay you time and time again. There is always a chance things could go south, just like there's always a chance things will go right. It is really up too you! If you are ready, get the show rockin!
Got it thanks so much again ! If you can make video with colocando load aye I’ll be great to see what they rates are in west !! Appreciate what you are doing for the industry man ! God bless
Hey Im trying to get into car hauling, I just got my dot and mc number and im in the 21 day wait period right now. I'm out of hickory nc as a new authority is it hard to get loads on loads boards and is central dispatch going to be my best option? thanks
I get it, times are tough for getting loads right now. Hang in there though, because in about three months, you’ll likely be able to snag loads from a big broker. Meanwhile, try reaching out to dealers for loads, and don’t forget to ask them for a sweet 5-star rating!
@carhabitat4248 I would say Central is your best option. Central is one of the oldest load boards out there for vehicles. Most brokers, shippers, and car dealers are operating on Central. Definitely agree with @nikolozkobakhidze2180. In the beginning focus on your smaller mom and pop operations. Get some experience you can show through the ratings on Central. Soon enough you will be able to get on with the bigger companies. Another option is to find a dispatcher that can keep you moving.
