Why nobody including the tutor did not mention that the warp style must be Flag instead of rise?! You better mention that rather than stopping the video
The Flag distortion was right! But why did she hide everything important, if she wants to teach? I am sorry to say, but that was nasty way to show how to do things.
-What she did with line and shape?
-I could not color the shape with gradient after offset?
-And so on.
i never bother to like videos but this was probebly the only illustrator tutorial you can watch without falling asleep

Tip: watch tutorial at 0.25-0.5 speed (without music obviously) and make sure you're familiar with basic AI tools (trasparency panel, mesh tool etc.). For those who were unlucky enough to find this shitty tutorial - here - ua-cam.com/users/TTTutorialsfeatured - you can find cool tutorials on how to use transparency tool and opacity masks to be able to replicate the art from this tutorial (polar lights) in future.
