This video is an unboxing of my new EGO self-propelled single stage snow blower. This model (SNT2125AP) includes two 7.5 amp hour batteries and a dual charger. It is a great kit that has heated grips, updated controls, and LED headlights. Stay tuned for my real review where I show off what this model can do and how it performs. Enjoy!

Hey bud, i think you should edit your title. This machine is not self propelled, it is auger propelled. Can't wait to see your next video. I've been thinking about upgrading from my Gen 1 rubber paddle unit, which I really really love. 7 years,, no paddle replacement yet and the original 5 amp hr batteries are working great still.
Technically you’re right. Auger propelled.
Waiting patiently for your review and to see it in action, thanks.
Have to wait for some snow before I create the video lol. But it’ll come.
Looks like a nice unit. I'd like a step up, a two-stage blower but still electric. It's nice to have that extra oomph in the throwing part. Also, a thought; consider buying a wireless lav mic, the echo in the room gets kind of fatiguing because the mic is so far from you.
Yeah I’ve thought about that for a while. Thanks for the tip. I will be doing an actually review soon. Two stage blowers are just too big for my driveway and storage space
The "self propelled" part is bullshit and without skid shoes it's brutal to use as the skid bar catches every crack.
I have not had any issues with it. While I agree the self propelled feature is not the selling point, it still does help move it forward under the right circumstances. The paddles actually work really well and cut through ice and hard packed snow. They even cut through wet, slushy snow as well. Overall I’m really happy with it so far. Real review is coming soon
@@AllThingsSportsMikeMcIntyre Used it all last winter, not impressed, only thing that impressed me is I didn't have a headache when I was done and my wife isn't intimidated by it the way she is with gas snowblowers.
@dosdont to each their own
Where exactly are you seeing "self-propelled"? Maybe you expected something that was never a claim by EGO to begin with. When i read your comment I legit was like no way this thing is self propelled, then i looked at it on their website and it only says "Auger propelled" which it is.
@@beezer5623 LOL, maybe we can start with the title of this video? Yes EGO calls it "Auger Propelled." I call it bullshit marketing. I've used the blower in various type of snow falls, both fluffy and more wet and there is no assistance from the auger at all.
It's called a shovel
No it’s not.
Definitely not self propelled
Auger propelled. And in the right situation in works fine
