Really excited about the new Blitzway voltron while my favorite is the original look this one has a special place in my heart because I enjoyed watching it with my son.

I have the ThreeZero Voltron that just came out and already invested in the "cartoon accurate" Silverhawks. That said, I do like what I see with the vac-metal versions of the Silverhawks and the metallic Voltron. I hope Super7 will one day make Ultimate Voltron pilots ( all 6 ).
I missed that marvel legends Crystar, that;s a cool piece. and I heard about the super 7 gijoe reaction display with the cobra ship. But finding the photo has not been easy, Thanks for that. I'm collecting the Neca Turtles, But with a strange rule. I only buy the robots. Even with that rule there are quite a few bots in their selection this time, though no mention of how the battle damaged Fugitoid is going to be available. I guess as an accessory for someone.
I pre ordered the biker mice only concern was I was hoping for the bikes. I'm glad to see they were displayed. Thank you for that treat even if it doesn't become reality lol, I'm glad to see a possible concept. Solid video dude!
26:54, they're actually a little smaller than M.A.S.K. figures. Years ago, I was picking up figs from the company behind that line, before harmony gold & toynami got involved. The company's name is B2Five, and figs were 2.5-inches to scale with their votoms, vehicles, etc. In my eye, they were close enough to M.A.S.K. scale and their figs fit nicely with the jadatoys 1/24 scale harley davidson cycles/trucks combos that Target used to sell. When HG got involved, they slowed down the release of the B2FIVE mospeada cylclones, and jacked up the price (to ~$55 at that time). As for the bigger cyclones, I thought toynami already did some at the 6-inch scale; and I think your hope they'd be under $100 is a pipedream. HG's M.O. seems to be: use other's old stuff & charge a higher price for them. 😮💨

They revealed teases/samples(?) of their mospeada renditions at some con (likely in asia and called something like wondercon?) and then it didn't get released until maybe 2years later. That "delay" & the [inflated] $54 price tag were due to HG's involvement. If I had to guess, I'd speculate they'd have charged, at most, in the ~$34-$40 range pre-HG involvement.
Wow, that was the most indpeth review of SDCC figures I have seen yet. Thanks for including Crystar. That is the most a.azing reveal for me. I hope it does sell well enough for them to make the other characters. Which gives me hope that they may make a ROM.Marvel.Legends character
For me, Voltes Five Legacy's great achievement was being invited to this world class event. Even if there is no toy to represent the show, being invited means that the live action adaption of an old japanese anime is a world class level.
Im sooo happy Blitzway is doing Netflix Voltron. They would look really good together. I will start saving. Also Sentinel is doing one too, that will go with my Funko Pop Voltron lol

It looks awesome, and the detail is incredible, but, BUT it's way over priced imo at $500. It's a PASS for me, but it looks like it's doing well, 5490 backs and 46 days 12 hours and 17 minutes left.

That new Robotech Cyclone is actually a design from the Genesis Climber Mospeada side story "Genesis Breakers" that is currently being serialised in Hobby Japan. Keep it under $100? Good luck with that. Sentinel's 1/12 Riobot of the Genesis Breakers version of the Bartley (VR-038), Rook's Cyclone, is selling for 23,000 yen in Japan. I would be surprised if you got change out of $200 with this. If this went for under $100, I'd be worried about the quality. Not that I'm not worried about Toynami quality in the first place. I've bought four Robotech transforming figures from them over the years (two Alphas, a VF-1J, and a Beta), and of those, the VF-1J had to be returned because it was defective out of the box (the leg pivots were bent to the point they could not lock in place), and the two Alphas had terrible joints. Though I notice you didn't mention the Alpha fighter sitting next to it? Though that looks to me like a carbon copy of the old Gakken 1/35 Legioss from the 1980s. Also, I'm curious about that giant Skull One VF-1S. Is that a single-mode or does it transform?
Up to now, only things of interrest are MAYBE the reworked ML Ninja. Masterverse Snout Spout looks ok. IF S7 have tweaked the heads to get actual flying poses, I might pick up these Hawks. Still debating Cat's lair, mostly in terms of space.

Im confused everyone raves about Ramen Toys silver hawks at $100+, but $55-$65 for super7’s vac metal version and we scream too much money?!?!?!?! Plus the Super7 version looks more like the toy from the 80s. Either you think $65 is too much and you won’t buy the Ramen version either or you bought the Ramen version and think the Super7 is a great price. Can’t be on both sides of the fence
Ramen is delivering a different aesthetic and way more rare/niche. Super 7 figures are produced in much higher quantities and seem to have more QC issues. I am in on both for different reasons
The Trapjaw is New Eternia which are based on Classic Toys and Artwork while the Revelation/Revolution figures are based on the Animation. It not that hard and Everyone is catered too. I just bought the giant nekkid bird lady Motherboard.
The flaw with the Neca Gargoyles is the Hard Plastic Wings that are not articulated or folded. So they have to be displayed somewhere where their wings can be extended. And their heavy wings make them top heavy. And if they fall off the shelf, the wings just break off and can't be fixed. And you can heat the wings and bend them, but it is tricky to get them folded just right that looks good. And my brand new Broadway Gargoyle fell and broke both wings. And I heated and folded the wings for my Demona Gargoyle, but it doesn't look as good as if they had been made folded and they are still heavy. So I feel like Neca really owes me some replacements for the Gargoyles I have so far.
There will be a way to get the draped wings with the humans I hear. Yes they should have had both options from day 1 and the video game version of Goliath has both wings so they can do it
I'm with on Super7 while not perfect but what company is, I'm loving what there doing with the Thundercats and Silverhawks. I might still be on board with their tmnt line depending on what the next wave looks like after PlayMates through a rench on the line. Buying those chrome hawks but honestly they are staying in the box and I'll keep buying the cartoon versions to open.
You're the only person I've heard praise Revelation Trap Jaw. Most of us disliked the weird tongue & oversized jaw. All of us disliked the thin weapon pegs that feel like they want to break. NE fixes the head & will hopefully fix those fragile pegs.
I love the look of the Super 7 G.I.Joe figures but I just can't justify the price in my head. I'm just not into G.I.Joe enough to pay $55 a figure, especially when there are so many characters.
I fought with that issue myself but after the Viper being impossible to find and then SDCC Zartan selling out while checking out I figured S7 will be cheaper in the long run. You can get every figure and only 8 to 12 figures a year is not too hard to keep up with
Probably Harmony gold and the licensing. I hear they are hard to work with but also there are way way less Robotech collectors out there so they produce less than Transformers numbers
The Vac-metal SteelHeart looks great, but why did they go with that shade of purple? She's certainly not purple in the cartoon. If they had to use any colour, it should have been a *very* subtle bluish green.
When looking at some pictures of her vintage toy, she looks kinda purple but in other pictures she doesn't. Could it be the light or shade variation of the toys. (I don't have one so can't really tell)

Wonderfully customizable figures, so spare bits always get used. Thanks to the "furry" bodies for Beastman and Stratos. I'm currently building my own Thundercats too.
Temper your expectations on those silverhawks. Remember Flynn already said the factory didn't even want to do it because the failure rate is so high. Also expect the price to be closer to 100, shf metal cooler that only had VM plates was 120 instead of the standard 65 while these are VMing the whole figure.
Cats Lair for $650 should ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY “FORCE” Hasbro rethink the pricing on the Ghost HasLab. $500 for something almost 3x smaller than Cats Lair. We should be flooding Hasbro with constant “WTF” until they lower the price in and around far more reasonable(but still ridiculous) $350.
Dude: (1) the sw license is way more expensive than TC; (2) there’s a lot more tooling in the ghost and lots of moving parts as well compared to Lair which is quasi inert; (3) not the same scale dude; (4) Eternia has way more plastic than Lair and yet Lair is 100$ more expensive; (5) all this is overpriced because they they’re targeting X-gens dads with some disposable income; (6) price per square feet it costs you to display Lair is way way more than Ghost; (7) related to 6 above, our space is limited. By now each one of us would need a warehouse to not only display all this crap but to store it too (that’s my case), this is getting beyond stupid; (8) fwiw, I fck’ing hate Hasbro bc I’d prefer a new Death Star playset (not based on vintage toy and based on SW ANH) or even a super duper release of a AT-AT, Sandcrawler or MF; (9) I straight went to back Ghost bc I ‘see’ value; (10) Lair is getting really small backing numbers right now and I think a lot of X-dads are thinking it’s too big for the house (and the wife), “why don’t I grow the f up”, and Ghost + Lair + MOTU’s new Filmation etc $$$$… “I’m going to have to burn college funds for this”; (11) speculatively, when most X-dads get over 60, we’ll start unloading this crap, and ROI is going to be abysmal bc Millenials and Z’s don’t give a crap abt the 80’s. Ramen is delivering a different aesthetic and way more rare/niche. Super 7 figures are produced in much higher quantities and seem to have more QC issues. I am in on both for different reasons
I also prefer the Ramen Monstar to Super 7 and they are prices about the same

The defender voltron is my favorite design. Not 700$ favorite 😂
There's gonna be a SEN-TI-NEL RIOBOT version of that design. Be about 10-11 inches, and probably at the $300 to $400 range.
If they are smart they will figure out a way to make that figure more affordable
The Trapjaw is New Eternia which are based on Classic Toys and Artwork while the Revelation/Revolution figures are based on the Animation. It not that hard and Everyone is catered too. I just bought the giant nekkid bird lady Motherboard.
Don't forget to talk about 52Toys Transformers that are at SDCC right now as well.

The flaw with the Neca Gargoyles is the Hard Plastic Wings that are not articulated or folded. So they have to be displayed somewhere where their wings can be extended. And their heavy wings make them top heavy. And if they fall off the shelf, the wings just break off and can't be fixed. And you can heat the wings and bend them, but it is tricky to get them folded just right that looks good. And my brand new Broadway Gargoyle fell and broke both wings. And I heated and folded the wings for my Demona Gargoyle, but it doesn't look as good as if they had been made folded and they are still heavy. So I feel like Neca really owes me some replacements for the Gargoyles I have so far.
There will be a way to get the draped wings with the humans I hear. Yes they should have had both options from day 1 and the video game version of Goliath has both wings so they can do it

I'm with on Super7 while not perfect but what company is, I'm loving what there doing with the Thundercats and Silverhawks. I might still be on board with their tmnt line depending on what the next wave looks like after PlayMates through a rench on the line. Buying those chrome hawks but honestly they are staying in the box and I'll keep buying the cartoon versions to open.
You're the only person I've heard praise Revelation Trap Jaw. Most of us disliked the weird tongue & oversized jaw. All of us disliked the thin weapon pegs that feel like they want to break. NE fixes the head & will hopefully fix those fragile pegs.
I like my Trapjaw because I actually put a vintage head on him and he looks great
I love the look of the Super 7 G.I.Joe figures but I just can't justify the price in my head. I'm just not into G.I.Joe enough to pay $55 a figure, especially when there are so many characters.
I fought with that issue myself but after the Viper being impossible to find and then SDCC Zartan selling out while checking out I figured S7 will be cheaper in the long run. You can get every figure and only 8 to 12 figures a year is not too hard to keep up with

Probably Harmony gold and the licensing. I hear they are hard to work with but also there are way way less Robotech collectors out there so they produce less than Transformers numbers

The Vac-metal SteelHeart looks great, but why did they go with that shade of purple? She's certainly not purple in the cartoon. If they had to use any colour, it should have been a *very* subtle bluish green.
When looking at some pictures of her vintage toy, she looks kinda purple but in other pictures she doesn't. Could it be the light or shade variation of the toys. (I don't have one so can't really tell)

To be honest lots sell so cheap on there it's almost not worth buying new anymore. I think the only Motu figure I've got on pre-order is Clawful. Wonderfully customizable figures, so spare bits always get used. Thanks to the "furry" bodies for
Beastman and Stratos. I'm currently building my own Thundercats too.
Temper your expectations on those silverhawks. Remember Flynn already said the factory didn't even want to do it because the failure rate is so high. Also expect the price to be closer to 100, shf metal cooler that only had VM plates was 120 instead of the standard 65 while these are VMing the whole figure.
That would outrage many collectors to see they can be made but not get to buy them. Even at the higher price they would be awesome

Cats Lair for $650 should ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY “FORCE” Hasbro rethink the pricing on the Ghost HasLab. $500 for something almost 3x smaller than Cats Lair. We should be flooding Hasbro with constant “WTF” until they lower the price in and around far more reasonable(but still ridiculous) $350.
Yes the Razor crest was 350 and wold well I see this ghost selling through all the tiers but not hitting Crest levels
Dude: (1) the sw license is way more expensive than TC; (2) there’s a lot more tooling in the ghost and lots of moving parts as well compared to Lair which is quasi inert; (3) not the same scale dude; (4) Eternia has way more plastic than Lair and yet Lair is 100$ more expensive; (5) all this is overpriced because they they’re targeting X-gens dads with some disposable income; (6) price per square feet it costs you to display Lair is way way more than Ghost; (7) related to 6 above, our space is limited. By now each one of us would need a warehouse to not only display all this crap but to store it too (that’s my case), this is getting beyond stupid; (8) fwiw, I fck’ing hate Hasbro bc I’d prefer a new Death Star playset (not based on vintage toy and based on SW ANH) or even a super duper release of a AT-AT, Sandcrawler or MF; (9) I straight went to back Ghost bc I ‘see’ value; (10) Lair is getting really small backing numbers right now and I think a lot of X-dads are thinking it’s too big for the house (and the wife), “why don’t I grow the f up”, and Ghost + Lair + MOTU’s new Filmation etc $$$$… “I’m going to have to burn college funds for this”; (11) speculatively, when most X-dads get over 60, we’ll start unloading this crap, and ROI is going to be abysmal bc Millenials and Z’s don’t give a crap abt the 80’s. I prefer the Ramen Toys Titanium Heroes, better than either version of Super 7’s Silver Hawks. Hope Ramen completes the line.

Joe and is a bit more adult than Joe comics were before that. I have been a joe fan forever. Was not exactly a Chuckles fan. After reading that book, I became a big fan.
