I know several families in the Eastern Agency that can benefit from this project. I've acquired enough knowledge of solar power, storage, and usage to build a system. However, the funding of such a project is beyond my financial scope. Another issue is that because solar projects are inherently "expensive" they are targets for theft. Crime is pretty high on the reservation too.

Nearly half of the Navajo nation lives under the poverty line, with around 18,000 homes lacking electricity.

My next door neighbor left the reservation to live in Tempe for over 20 years. Recently he came back to our community he lacked housing and his aunt got him a portable building.. unfortunately he needs electricity even solar power would help him dearly. If you see my comments maybe you could help him. He's in the dark every night. In the community of Klagetoh AZ.

... Extreme Poverty and she's driving an expensive 'new' car.... They are paying he a lot of money to install tiny little solar panels... Unsure wtf is going on here, but it's very broken. Seems to me she's milking her own people while they stay in poverty.

Be careful how you posed - extreme poverty- you are attacking our people survival dignity,
