I know I am not Navajo or of any of the Native nations of the Americas but I am Taino and Arawak/Caribbean of the greater Antilles, in a way we have similar roots so I care about the situation in the Navajo nation.

Not all Navajo's live in this condition, majority do have electricity and running water. The problem is jobs, there aren't too many. To have water or electricity you have to pay for it, these energy companies are the only ones that offer jobs to locals. But this goes against everything we stand for because getting these resources is expensive and puts the environment at risk. What we need to do is look into renewable or cleaner energy.
