I recently got a great deal on Komplete 14 Ultimate. I really didn’t think I would ever get that level, but it happened. So I will wait a while now. I had to update my Mac OS to use Bouquet. And I picked up Cubase Artist 13 for cheap, so I’m tired of spending money and installing stuff. I appreciate the info, bro!

It just takes a lot more to impress people these days. The internet provides so much accessible 'stuff' that people are taking it for granted. Let me put another perspective on it.... If this was offered as part of the update from Komplete 1 to Komplete 2 people would be having street parties. Check their guitars… try to make a sound with a sample guitar Libary I did upload recently… The world is healing. Compare it what NI give you for yours bugs. By the way this peace is included in my upcoming Pluginguru Guitar effects Libary History of Rock. Check in my channel the last upload…. No iZotope nothing. Just fieldrecordings for Sounddesign sampled guitar and free available Open Source effects.

I upgraded to 14 when it was new. Since then bought new plugins and expansions I wanted. So upgrade to 15 will feel like buy what I already have again. I will get some new things I don't have, but am not interested for now. I am at the moment only interested in Kontakt 8. But will wait for sale. I hope it's better with you since last time. There is alot more in this one that I know alot of people are not that excited about but there are ALOt of different things in 15 from 14. Sure more sounds, features, and etc but the price alone for the indivisual ones are nothing compared to getting it as ar as a bundle. It all depends on the producer/ buyer for sure. interesting… The flagship list is f**king tiny. Not surprising at all, as everything has pointed to NI being more interested in selling samples than actual new or updated products. Nothing really new or very interesting. More and more "press single key" toys or strange experimental sampled crap. And they killed vsts again - Battery is dead!! Cant trust NI anymore.

Worst update ever, NI are only interested in stuff that will bring them money on top of whatever you paid for Komplete itself ie more konkatk libraries and expansion packs, 0 new reaktor synths or updates, no FM8, Battery etc updates

Never ever. I've found better and more stable solutions for EVERYTHING that I once liked to use from NI, which in total didn't cost much more than Komplete.. NI killed so many excellent plugins (Absynth!! FM8!!, Spectral Delay, B4 Organ, etc.) and now in Komplere 15 they've killed the good drummer Battery too!! What's the point? And stability has also become very difficult, many crashes. I no longer trust this company, they want to sell NI hardware keyboards and this DJ machine stuff. I only use mostly Kontakt because of the sample libraries. But I hate this "new" player thingy with biiig pics but only a handful control knobs. Fortunately, there are other manufacturers these days who make much better VSTi synths.
Man, I am really interested in seeing your list with what you use now as far as the ones you substitute for the NI ones you used to use. I think that's still good and would be useful for others that might be looking for it. 💯💯💯
REAPER customers: Don't buy a Kontrol Mk3 keyboard as the included Komplete Kontrol 3.3.2 software crashes REAPER. It makes the keyboard completely useless! This critical bug has been reported in November 2023 and NI rejects to resolve this.

I know what you're saying. We all have our preferences but this is a problem across many industries incl music, film, TV and videos games. It just takes a lot more to impress people these days. The internet provides so much accessible 'stuff' that people are taking it for granted.
Let me put another perspective on it.... If this was offered as part of the update from Komplete 1 to Komplete 2 people would be having street parties. So its not that NI have changed its the consumers that need to reset and become more positive. Sorry to sound a bit preachy but it needs to be said ha ha!

Check their guitars… try to make a sound with a sample guitar Libary I did upload recently… The world is healing. Compare it what NI give you for yours bugs. By the way this peace is included in my upcoming Pluginguru Guitar effects Libary History of Rock. Check in my channel the last upload…. No iZotope nothing. Just fieldrecordings for Sounddesign sampled guitar and free available Open Source effects.
Now I can say is that I agree with you on Absynth. Just did a video a while ago showcasing it again and was really confused as to why this is now "a legacy item" for NI. Definitely dropped the ball on that one and Razor. I have a forgotten series on the channel that I showcase these. But we are on the same page. I upgraded to 14 when it was new. Since then bought new plugins and expansions I wanted. So upgrade to 15 will feel like buy what I already have again. I will get some new things I don't have, but am not interested for now.
I am at the moment only interested in Kontakt 8. But will wait for sale.

I think adding Ozone 11 Advanced to Komplete 15 Collector's Edition wouldn't hurt. Standard just doesn't cut it.

There is alot more in this one that I know alot of people are not that excited about but there are ALOt of different things in 15 from 14. Sure more sounds, features, and etc but the price alone for the indivisual ones are nothing compared to getting it as ar as a bundle. It all depends on the producer/ buyer for sure. Everything is going great! Even though I had to celebrate my Mom transition last month my daughter is having a baby. The family is doing good and honestly I can't complain. As far as individual upgrade then it will be a purchase for sure especially if you have an older version of Kontakt. interesting… The flagship list is f**king tiny. Not surprising at all, as everything has pointed to NI being more interested in selling samples than actual new or updated products. Nothing really new or very interesting. More and more "press single key" toys or strange experimental sampled crap. And they killed vsts again - Battery is dead!! Cant trust NI anymore.

Worst update ever, NI are only interested in stuff that will bring them money on top of whatever you paid for Komplete itself ie more konkatk libraries and expansion packs, 0 new reaktor synths or updates, no FM8, Battery etc updates

But I definitely understand what you saying as far as the older (legacy) instruments. They do have the community which I did a vid for on Reaktor and free libraries. As far Battery, they have kits when they do the expansions and one shots to use. Ut I get your concern though. Never ever. I've found better and more stable solutions for EVERYTHING that I once liked to use from NI, which in total didn't cost much more than Komplete.. NI killed so many excellent plugins (Absynth!! FM8!!, Spectral Delay, B4 Organ, etc.) and now in Komplere 15 they've killed the good drummer Battery too!! What's the point? And stability has also become very difficult, many crashes. I no longer trust this company, they want to sell NI hardware keyboards and this DJ machine stuff. I only use mostly Kontakt because of the sample libraries. But I hate this "new" player thingy with biiig pics but only a handful control knobs. Fortunately, there are other manufacturers these days who make much better VSTi synths.
Man, I am really interested in seeing your list with what you use now as far as the ones you substitute for the NI ones you used to use. I think that's still good and would be useful for others that might be looking for it. 💯💯💯

REAPER customers: Don't buy a Kontrol Mk3 keyboard as the included Komplete Kontrol 3.3.2 software crashes REAPER. It makes the keyboard completely useless! This critical bug has been reported in November 2023 and NI rejects to resolve this.
