I first heard this song in a montage to the April 27, 2011 Super Tornado Outbreak as a tribute to the ones lost that day. What a beautiful masterpiece and may those souls that perished that day rest in peace
When i lost my wife of 32 years to breast cancer, this was the first song we played at her funeral, 7 years ago , now, still brings comfort to know our God is worthy of praise even on our darkest day
Ok I'm trying to type this without crying. What an absolutely beautiful display of love that is. I would love to have seen Erin's dance she is now dancing for The Lord in Heaven. This is One of my FAVORITE songs it has such a powerful message. We all go through our battles in life whatever they may be but as I can account to The Lord will speak to your heart like he has spoken to mine one really difficult day. As I was crying I looked up in the sky and yelled Jesus help me. And he whispered to me I am here it's OK I Love you. After crying for about 15 minutes all I could do was dance for him. Even though the storm was there i recognized the solution is BIGGER than the storm. JESUS YOU ARE HERE when the storm roars you are always there to calm it. I Love you my Glorious King forever. Jesus my ALL.
Everybody goes through so much in life there are days s when I just want to walk away from everybody and tell them to leave me alone I don't want to turn to man when I need to talk I turn to God
Such an amazing woman to praise God under these circumstances. She is an inspiration to all of us and Casting Crowns have a beautiful ministry. God is good.
Awesome, Amen....I praise🙌 you through these storms Lord. I love this song Casting Crowns, come here many times and listen through trials more these past few years that take lots of courage hope ,faith and prayers🙏⭐️💕
What an awesome instrument of God! Casting Crowns is a gift from our Father and I am so thankful. Keep on keeping on for the Kingdom guys. You are a great example and encouragement.
Awesome, revival song. This song has been provided by the Holy Spirit. Thank You Jesus, with worship songs like this I am in your presence. Hallelujah!!
The testimony before this song sounds really emotional and heart rending. But unfortunately, the implication the artist gives are totally wrong. This is so sad. Not just what happened to the little girl, but all of the screwed up theology that is floating around out there. No wonder people don't want to serve a God like is being portrayed. If God described here was in fact the God of the Bible, I wouldn't want to serve him either. The God being described here is not the God of the Bible.
The Testimony, is that Erin's mother had unshakeable Faith, in the face of heartbreaking tragedy. No one on Earth knows God's plans. The Bible records that " All things work together for good, for (all) those who love the Lord. Not "All bad things are good". The Bible records God drowned everyone not on the Ark. God DID NOT drown or kill everyone who perished in the Titanic tragedy. There is a difference. Man set Titanic in motion. Did good come from it ? Arguably yes, many beneficial changes. IF you believe in God, then we also believe Erin & her mom will be reunited in joy, forever. We owe God gratitude for Blessings, even when we experience unfair heartbreak. Even Jesus, wept in the garden of Gethsemane "Lord, take this cup ... but thy will be done". Jesus' suffering was not "good", the good came in other ways after. CC didn't say " Ya, she died, but hey !!! We got a Hit Song ". They said " In the midst of excruciating loss, loss of a child, a spouse ( ask Danny Gokey ), in a hurricane (Katrina?), a Civil War ( 1861 ) a Pandemic, etc, Do not be afraid ( Isaiah 41:10 ) God is with you. Praise him in the Storm, for His love for all of us. And all His good gifts, despite the hurt of this world. Heaven awaits us, at our time for each of us.
Cont. Satan was before the throne of God to make an appeal for access to Job which he had already legally won from Adam. All God did was give satan the access to Job which was already legally his because of Adam forfeiting legal rights to the earth in the fall. Job said, the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Just because Job said that does not mean God was in agreement! What Job said was false. God gave & satan took away. God was not an accomplice, or he would be more evil than satan.
Yes, praise Him in the storm, but why not speak to it? . . . The storm that is. And the theology of the song is a bit skewed. God gave and satan took away. I don't know why people don't get it. Jesus said, the enemy comes not but to steal, kill and destroy. But I am come that you might have life and have it more abundantly. I don't have room here to correct the error of this kind of theology. But suffice it to say, A "god" who allows your children to be murdered is an accomplice and evil.
