Justin tweeted about the name of his album be Justice, here's what he said: "In a time when there’s so much wrong with this broken planet we all crave healing and justice for humanity. In creating this album my goal is to make music that will provide comfort, to make songs that people can relate to and connect to so they feel less alone, Suffering, injustice and pain can leave people feeling helpless. Music is a great way of reminding each other that we aren’t alone. Music can be a way to relate to one another and connect with one another. I know that I cannot simply solve injustice by making music but I do know that if we all do our part by using our gifts to serve this planet and each other that we are that much closer to being united. This is me doing a small part. My part. I want to continue the conversation of what justice looks like so we can continue to heal."
It's more than the meaning of the word Justice, he's making music to bring happiness for the people, also donating the album profits for several institutions, includind the Martin luther king jr. institution. The MLK daughter thanked him for using his plataform to show the MLK word for the new generation, and blessed him in this project. I think he wanted to talk about politics questions but he knew that would not have someone better to pass that feeling if not MLK

Btw the name justin means justice, that's why he put that name on the album. it's HIS justice, what's important to HIM. meaning his wife, his mental health, what he learned from his mistakes and throughout his life. he wanted the album to offer some comfort to people that suffered during this difficult time. about the interlude, he wanted to expand mlk's voice to today's generation, a man who fought for justice and peace, a man justin admires and learns from. part of the sales of the album + interlude go to mlk's organization (amongst others). I really didn't get the whole MLK theme when most of the songs had nothing to do with it at all. Sounds like it was just a marketing move imo.
It’s not a MLK/Justice theme bro, Justice also means Justin. So it’s what is important to him, his mental health, his wife, etc.

Nah I think Justice is a solid album and personally really like it. The album had no skips for me where as purpose did because I didn’t rock with the pop edm sound.

If you pay attention to the MLK clips he included, they’re talking about love and holding on to something great. Justin didn’t name or create the album Justice in the sense of social or racial injustice, he named it about his own “justice”. That justice being Hailey which is shown in the album. He had a rough childhood and then was thrown into the spotlight. His every move was captured and published in the media, especially his mistakes, hence he felt undeserving of love because the news made him out to be a bad guy and he believed it as well. In the songs he talks about how he doesn’t deserve Hailey but he holds onto her because she’s the justice he always wanted and needed . So although it isn’t about racial injustice, the album is personal and about his “justice”. But since this was written during quarantine when BLM protests were occurring, he included black artists in the album, a sort of double entendres. People just seen the word Justice and assumed it would be about racial injustice which is understandable because of the recent events.

A lil tip: never look at an album regardless of Genre, based on the features. Not every album needs to be crammed with the hottest features by your favorite artists. Its the artist that should be present on his/her album and never an afterthought. Some dont even like doing features for a while cuz we wanna here THEIR voice for a lil while. Although i do like going back to JB's past albums and shuffling through songs and hearing these different sounds and his voice growing as he got older. I like the album tho
