Crosman 362: Out-of-the-box .22 caliber air rifle performs nicely; this one has lots of potential

- Backyard Ballistics: .177 and .22 stuff.
Just heard about this from other UA-camrs and decided to buy one. I highly recommend this .22 caliber pneumatic pump air rifle. It is relatively light, feels well built, and shoots pellets around 13 foot pounds of kinetic energy. Another huge plus: there are aftermarket kits for this air rifle, to include kits to replace the plastic breach with a metal breach. This metal breach allows the shooter to mount a scope. Velocity can be increased with aftermarket pneumatic pump parts.
This Crosman air rifle shoots the Crosman Fast Flight penetrating pellet very well. I was able to pierce through an empty propane gas tank four times in a row. - Розваги
Good quality Crosman .22 caliber airgun !
I like your pellet sketches
They're good guns, i put the steel breech on mine , not much else besides fiber optic front sight
very nice looking gun
I was fortunate and lucky enough to get the 100 year Anniversary edition that should arrive in a few weeks. I can’t wait to see if there are any add ons from the factory.🤠🇺🇸
Dang…old school ledger.😜
Yea....easier for me to keep track of things, as I don't have to turn on the old laptop to get to Microsoft Excel (which I hate anyway). Plus, I get to draw in this one if I want, to get out the inner artist.
That sucker hits hard nice gun Brian
Thanks. That it does.
Great shooting and an excellent air rifle!
Thank you!
I have one 362 and it is my favorite airgun. I wish the length of pull was longer, but hey just install the steel breech and enjoy tight groups all the time.
Can't wait. Thanks for watching and comments
Nice work!
Thank you for checking out the video!
Very good shooting Air Rifle ,after it breaks in a little more it's going to be a tac driver , I'm going to look into purchasing one of those for my Air Rifle collection ⚖️🦉
You got that right. Thank you for watching.
It’s a nice carbine. Sometimes if you add a little oil to the pump cup it shoots harder.
It is nice. Lots of fun to shoot. I just added a steel breech, as promised in this video, and it gives me even better performance. (I just posted that video yesterday, if you want to check it out). Agree with the oil, but one needs to be careful not to put in too much; it will gunk up the intake valve of the cylinder. You can kind of tell when it's getting dry, after shooting it awhile, though. Thanks for the comment.
I'd be interested in seeing the modifications on the breach. Sun 102!
Can't wait to get going on that myself. Might be a bit, as I just got out of hospital for total knee replacement, and can't even walk in the back yard to the shed at this point. But, can't wait.
I have the impact Max elite too just be careful with those forearm screws . Maybe put some loctite on em
Nice enjoy 👍😉
Thanks 👍
May I suggest a UTG 3-12X40 for about 100$ on Amazon. I have several of them on my airguns and they are super clear and never need re-zeroed. My Benjamin 392 is a tack driver out to 40 yards and at 25 will keep 5 inside of a penny with Crosman pointed pellets.
Thanks for the tip. I checked it out. I may use that on a project I have on the way back burner (putting a scope on a Henry AR-7) but it might be awhile, as I seem to be getting a lot of feedback on the air rifles in the low cost range (which is really all I can afford anyway) and I still have a few I haven't even introduced yet. Thanks for watching; hope you come back for more!
For me, ill pump first and then load the pellet, not the other way around thats for safety reasons, nice review anyway
Looks like a fun self sufficient budget rifle!
_Until you mod it $$$ 😁_
True Wish I had better eyesight so I wouldnt have to guess with even the peep hole sight. For, I think they are going for $120 ish now, they were about $100, but inflation kicked in, they are an excellent deal.

_Knowing that a steel breech is 50$cad makes it a bit less interesting if you "need" a scope..._
*But very fair price out of the box still!*
[Same story for the 13xx & 2240]
In my opinion break barrel air rifles are much better...
You only have to do one motion or one pump then fire it
I have a Gamo Hunter Extreme Pro .22 1300 fps w alloy pellets. It's really getting about 940 fps using crossman premier piranhas (lead pellets)
Break barrels have their advantages; more speed, less time, etc. I really like my Ruger Max Elite. On the other hand I can’t modify them much other than suppressors, and they really jerk your scope around even with the nitro piston , that’s supposed to have less vibration when the spring is released. I also have a Ruger Air Hawk and mine is unreliable, but when I did a video on it there were a lot of defenders of it. Guess theirs was made on a day when all the assembly line workers in China we’re having a good day. I’ve got one break barrel in the box that I haven’t tried yet, but nothing expensive yet. (Just got through putting down almost $400 on the Crosman 363 100 year edition, and who knows when that wii arrive). I haven’t even considered the PCP air rifles as I’m pretty much a low budget dude here. Thanks for the comment; it certainly has merit, but I really like my 362. Modifications are on the way.
I am jealous just because my Nazi/Communist government of Canada 🇨🇦 doesn’t let me to have one because it can go over 500 fps otherwise you need Gun license (PAL) to buy one and with same license you can buy real firearms except handguns and many others…
Sorry to hear about that. I have lots of opinions about Canada...how it went from a nice friendly country to what it is now in such a short time is frightening. All I know is I am glad we have the 2nd A, or a tyrant like yours would be really, really dangerous here. Can't say much more on YT, sorry. Maybe if I could get some more viewers on Rumble I could expand, but this video, for example only has 4 views over there.
Took me months to get the license and it costed almost 300$ from the safety class to the pictures for the PAL 😂
_Oh kenada._ 🇨🇦
You as well as my nation need new leadership. Canada 🇨🇦 is out of control holding anyone to fps Airgun levels.😡
@@brianwilke592 Don’t be sorry, you didn’t do absolutely nothing wrong,it’s my stupid dumb government with an idiot/prick on the helm, who has no place in politics nor does he works for Canadians..What a Disgrace/Shame.. I am no longer proud to say I’m Canadian and all because of Justin Trudeau and his Buddy Singh… SHAME…
@LowkeyAirgunner yep we're cucked up in Kanada...😬
Yea I really want one of these but in Canada these type of pellet guns are getting harder to get because of our communist government 🇨🇦
Believe it or not, I used to think Canada would be the one place on earth I could flee to if the US turned into an authoritarian dystopia. Wow, was I wrong about that. Truly frightening to see how Canada and Australia went to the dark side with so much gusto. I feel for those like yourself. Someone else from Canada said the same thing about pellet guns with too many ft/lbs. Same in the UK.
Tbf, uk 12 ft lbs is sufficient for what we need in pest control.
I hate my government, but if you are a decent shot, it's sufficient,
I have many rifles mostly in .177, that reach around 800-825 fps using magnum domes. From rats to rabbits it's ok.
Anything bigger I could use my bows or crossbow.
