there are two more. if you are checking all of the graves on the remembrance garden, a chest will spawn. the other one appears on mayi´s hollow , if you are clicking on all of the tiny phoenix statues.
Thank you so much. I was missing a couple, although I hear the noise the chests make in two places you didn't mention, and I can't find any chests there. It's so confusing! They're both in Kilima village.
Thank you! Regarding Kilima, where did you hear the noise? This video contains all open world chests you can find without solving puzzles, but there are 2 more secret ones you can unlock by solving the Remembrance Garden and Dragon Shrine puzzles. But yes, curious as to where you heard the noise, maybe it's something new?
Before going through this guide I did the Remembrance Garden one and received the map along with the wallpaper when finishing that one. I didn't receive anything when I went through this video and picked up the chests I had missed. Maybe that chest in the Remembrance Garden is part of this set as well, and was the last I needed to complete it, but the others I was missing in this video were extras and not needed for the map reward.
Heya! I believe you need only 12 or 13 chests to complete the accomplishment and get the map reward, but there are more to be found throughout Kilima. In this video we only covered the (18) that can be found without solving any additional puzzles. We did separate videos for the Secret Puzzles of the Remembrance Garden and also Dragon Shrine. So yes, it seems you already picked up enough chests and got your last one counted when completing the Remembrance Garden - congratz! By the way, if it's of interest, we did the same series of videos for Bahari Bay - all chests that can be found in the open in one big video, plus separate videos for the various Secret Puzzles. 🙂
Thanks for the guide! The last treasure chest seems to be missing...like the ledge it's on isn't even there. It's possible I already collected it, but it would be weird for the ledge to disappear as well.

Hm, it wouldn't be the first time they have moved a chest (they did it with 1 or 2 in Bahari, I believe to make it easier to reach them), but I've just been to the Temple and the Ledge is still there. It still looks exactly as in the video. Unfortunately, I can't verify the chest as we've already picked it up with all our characters. Maybe you just mixed up room or perspective?
Looks like most of the treasure chests hold stuff you can gather in the wild in just a few minutes. I believe I got a completely different wallpaper from the shrine chest. 🤔 Maybe it's randomized? Have you found all the chests in Bahari Bay yet?
I'd say the chests should be a welcome surprise if you are starting out in Kilima and happen to come across them. But yes, for anyone with a bit more progression, it's less about the rewards and more about the achievement/feeling of completing them all - and maybe also the placeable chests. The Wallpaper should be the same reward for everyone, maybe you just mixed it up with another reward.
I guess for now they are only decoration, but at least they don't take up inventory space. But I'd also hope they let us sell furniture at one point, to either make it a craft that allows us to make some money, or even craft for others.
Oh yeah. I managed to make the jump without glider maybe 3 times - out of many attempts and with a lot of swearing. Just wanted to find out if it is possible without, and with luck it is. Definitely wait until you have the glider, not worth the frustration! 😄
The very first chest or which # do you mean, #15? We show the map location for each chest, and the last few chests require quest progression as mentioned so you can access the area.
There is no quest - instead it's an accomplishment you get when you find at least 12 chests in Kilima. So it doesn't matter when you pick them up, the accomplishment will update whenever you have found 12.

Indeed, that's what we mention in the beginning of the video, we will have separate guides for these that require some "puzzle" solving.

I hate that we can't use, or sell these chests. I have many of them. What do I do with them? Do you think they'll chg this at all?

You can trash them or give them as gifts to Tish
people are stacking them and making staircases on their plot. I saw one video where they reached the top of the gazebo and decorated it.
you know the only chest giving me issues is treasure chest #8 on the rock 3.56 . tried like 30 times just cant get it .

Without a Glider it's extremely tough to get there, but with Glider it should be easy!
