You can get there by public transportation like train or bus. If you use Google map in Japan, it is so easy to find how to get to the destination. In terms of hotel, it depends on your budget and your preference.
I'll be in Osaka from April 21-24. I don't know what I want to do, but I know I'm taking a day trip to Hiroshima on the 23rd. I'm thinking while in Osaka I will try to get to Dotonbori, and I also want to see that aquarium!
I had one of my best nights at club life in Osaka. Experience I have always been facinated with the night life in Japan in general and Osaka in particular, So when I got to Osaka I was excited because the atmosphere did not betray the stories I heard from people that have visited Osaka. After checking into my hotel room at about 3am ,I took a shower and got dressed, ready to explore the night life in the Shinsabashi shopping district and night life hub,Since it was my first time in the City, I had to look up on the internet for bars to hang out with a drink and good music. Before this time I read a review on reddit about an International Bar Named Club life, so I decided to give it a try since it was very near the busy area with many other entertainment establishments. It took me about 15mins to get there from the hotel I was staying at.When I got there, the ambience was just very welcoming. I got seated and looking at the menu, I was surprised to see that the drinks were moderatedly priced. The music was superb, the bar man who doubles as a DJ was playing the right mixture of Afrobeats and Hiphop,he even suggessted that I make any song request of my choice and he would play it. It was so refreshing to see and meet other foreigners like me having a good time at Clublife. The drinks on the menu are surprisingly cheaper than most bars i visited afterwards. Cocktails were less than 1000 yen, with beers selling at the tantalizing price of 700yen for draft beer and 800 for bottle beers .To make things even hotter, there is pepper soup on the menu riddled with beef chunks and goes for only 1000 yen,one can choose to have it with or without rice. I couldnt be happier to be at this bar. Just as I requested my fav song and it started playing, a very sexy Japanese girl walked in and within few minutes invited me for a dance. At this point, the crowed was abuzz with fun chatter and dancing. We danced and ordered more drinks. As if that wasnt enough, the bar man would offer patrons at the front bar free shots of tequila or Jack Daniels. One of the coolest things about the bar is that, there are many games you can play while you enjoy your time there. There is a Darts game and a table tennis in the middle of the bar/Club.The Japanese girl I danced with and eventually became my friend told me she often visits the club with her friends and it is their fav spot to party and chill.
Toshi in the video you say F16 garden and view is FREE/no entry fee but on their website it details an observation floor costing 1800Y ??? ... are these 2 different spots/levels ? Another great video by the way 👍😀
Thank you for your question! Yes. They are different levels. The view from F16 garden is free. If you want to go up more for observatory, you need to pay.
The most fascinating and bizarre experience I've had so far was staying across from Tobita Shinchi (by accident) and discovering Sunrise onsen, a local public bathhouse with Japanese men in full body tattoo!
@@Toshi-Guide-from-Japan I realized that the moment I walked in but I did not feel intimidated. The young guys looked like they just finished working a late shift at night clubs.
Great video and very useful for when I head to Osaka next week. I have about 1,5 to 2 days in Osaka and while I do have Osaka Castle, Dotonbori, Kuromon market and Shinsekai on my schedule, I also want to go to Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan and to Den Den Town. While it will be my 4th time to Japan, it will be my first time to visit Osaka.
We have 3 nights in Tokyo when we first arrive....we will do the day trip from there....thank you so much....so do u think 6 nights is too much for Osaka...maybe I should do 4 nights Tokyo then 5 nights Osaka...
@@kathleencummings8731 It is better to go to Yokohama from Tokyo for a day trip. It's close enough that you can get there in 30 minutes by local train. It depends on the traveler, I think that's enough!

Ōsaka is the third largest city in Japan
Actually, yes.
Yokohama is the second largest city.
However, most of people think Yokohama is part of Tokyo.
