BULLITT 40 Caleb is having the event rain or shine. But whether we can run down the track depends on the weather. Alot of people coming down and after all the ford Takeover part is more than running down the track so he decided to have it anyway. We will see I’m trying to get a fall event together also.

Black Knight Mustang Lifestyle if the car runs faster than 8.5 you will need a helmet. You can ride down the track with other people at this track.
Did you ever replace the clutch spring with the steeda piece? I promise the best cheapest upgrade we can do to our cars

Working with and for ford i found that the factory spring allows residual pressure in the clutch release bearing at high rpms. The clutchbis designed to add more pressure with centrifugal forces pushing the pressure plate fingers out engaging the release bearing. When this happens the clutch pedal sometimes doesn't return, or the brake fluid seaps past seal and doesn't allow full engagement of the pressure plate giving that lock out feel!
Time for that shifter! Let me know how it works out and what kinda difference it makes! Looked like a good time!

JR Forsythe 15x10 weld rts wheels with 28x11.5x15 M/T et street R bias ply tires.

JR Forsythe not sure, since it’s a bias ply they just give the 28x11.5x15 tire size. But I looked up the dimensions in a tire calculator to see what a radial tire equivalent size would be and the closest I could get to the dimensions was a 295/55/15 (it comes out to 27.8x11.6x15). Don’t think they make that size though in a radial.

Michael Carroll with the Roush tune they feel very similar power wise! Of course once the custom tune was put in with the Roush phase 2 it was a different animal. As far as ride the S550 of course has a better ride. But the GT500 still rides great.

Hopefully the shifter helps but I see a lot of guys having to upgrade the synchronizers to fix the second gear on these tr6060
LynnTwinCustom$ reason I say shifter is if I hold the shifter over to left it does fine. If it was synchros it would give me trouble even then. But yes I have seen same thing you have talked about. We will see.
Gotcha! Hopefully it fixes your issue. MGW is my top choice for a shifter if the funds are there!

It's not just gt500 it's anything with a tr6060. My brother's zl1 does the same thing sometimes. My gt500 did it also. The gen1 MGW helped some but the second gen is amazing. Make sure it's a second gen. Sucks I'm going to miss the event especially being in Murfreesboro so close to you. Don't have the clutch funds. So she is sitting and waiting.
