    hello tastensnap. how long did you fry the tomatoes for?

    • @tastesnapp
      @tastesnapp  8 років тому

      Like about 10mins, the idea is to fry until it all the water evaporates and only the tomatoes is left in the pot

    • @secaouseonyibe2254
      @secaouseonyibe2254 8 років тому

      Thanks for that. how long did you also fry the egusi with the tomatoes?

    • @tastesnapp
      @tastesnapp  8 років тому

      +secaouse onyibe about 15-20mins, depends on quantity.. Just keep frying until the Egusi cooked, is no more pastey, and starts to separate to form little clumps

      I would say 5-10mins depending on qty. As soon as you notice the Egusi has kinda separated as in no more pastey, then u know it's fried

    One thing I noticed about Nigerean cuisine is that there is NO consistency in pteparstion and method. I understand that the lprotein can be different, but how can you teach a recipe for this food when everybody does it a fucki g different way woth different final results.

      That’s African way of cooking. no measurement or consistency, the cook knows when and what to add to make the food tasty. Started from many generations ago.
