ResidentStevil I would have probably shot myself to be honest. I finally got pass the insanity of chapter 2 only for me to die at the end of chapter 3 to those fat fucks. I hate this game😂

Hey Maka. Thank you so much for this guide! It helped a lot on the speed run portion without having to take too much time and sneak around in some of those rooms, especially the kitchen and library area. This was the very last achievement I had to get, and I was able to do it FINALLY! HARD TO THE CORE!!!
Thank you so much!! Your guidance really helped me! I was pausing following your video and I uploaded my save to the cloud in between chapters which helped. I had to download my save and retry a couple of chapters but did chapter 4 and 5 on my first attempt and got the trophy/achievement! So happy!
You don't have to drag the crate of toilet roll to the switch. You can jump far enough from the crate without moving it.
I was so disappointed when it didn't pop at first when I had a perfect run with some speedrun skips, but after 3 min in credits it finally did
FEBRUARY 2021 Just followed this video while using pause on the Ps5 between sections (via backward compatability) . Thank you so much was very helpful got the trophy. It pops on the stairs on PlayStation version but lower down. Think I need to de stress for a few hours now 😀. Cheers 🍻
Back in May 2017, only 0,12% of players had this achievement unlocked. Now, almost 4 years later, it is 0,13% 😅

Watching in 2021, because of the damn lockdown in the UK, I bought this game for my PS4 after watching my sister play this game earlier in the year. I'm now gonna try and attempt this trophy, but it begs the question - will they do something similar for Little Nightmares II?

Got the 1000 Gamescore in three days. One playthrough just to enjoy the game, one playthrough to grap all collectibles and one playthrough (f*cked up four times and had to reload the checkpoints) for the no death speedrun while watching your video. GG Maka it helped a lot
Im doing the same i enjoyed the game, then all collectives and now the speed run... but i just got to the kitchen and died... ill try again tomorrow

Hard to the Core one of the worst trophy I have ever seen and there isn't platinum after the suffering
This is hard but people make it sound nearly impossible. Try getting the "Messiah" trophy/achievement in Outlast 2. Or better yet, don't. You'll lose your mind, your hair will fall off and you'll shave a year off your life.
babbisp1 this is pretty much near impossible. The trophy should have been either complete the game on the hardest difficulty (they would need to add one) or complete the game without dying but in however long you want. That trophy is just lazy and unfair design from the developers.
@@JukeBoxOwl Yeah permadeath is indeed the epitomy of laziness. It's so they dont have to create a new difficulty. But a game like little nightmares shouldnt have difficulty i think

I was having trouble with getting Hard to the Core, so I opened up this beside me and 'raced' you, so to speak. I'll admit I'm on PC, so I went offline until the end of the chapter (and backed up saves) to be safe. I started fresh every attempt though because I often took breaks cuz I have a small attention span XDDD
It’s much harder on console as we don’t have that ability

Can you pause the game to stop the timer if you wanted to?
Yes you can! You can also pause as you fall off a ledge to catch yourself and restart the checkpoint. It'll add time to your run but might save a death!

You know you can slide between the legs of the chef in chapter 3 and 4 in chapter using this strat I did it around 1m30s faster than you. You basically skip the whole bathroom thing but it is really risky.

If you pause and the option to restart from a checkpoint is absent, it counted as a death
idk if someone will answer this but. if the janitor grabs me and i pause the game right before im in his hands and go reload the last checkpoint does it count as a death
Hmm, well I’m very late, but if you manage to reload your checkpoint before the little eye in the corner pops up, you should be good.

Can you restart a chapter if you mess up? From the chapter select screen via the main menu? Sorry if you cover this in the video, I'm only about 5 mins in.
ignore this question, I know the answer now. If anybody else wants to know, the answer is no! You cannot use chapter select. You must complete it in 1 run. The only work around is what Maka did and pause/reload checkpoint before your death is logged.
@Vuzy sorry I’m not sure but I would guess, no you can’t do that. From what I remember, it has to be done in 1 run. It’s a difficult achievement/trophy but very satisfying when you get it. Good luck.
Where’s my fucking achievement I played for 5+ hours and when I beat the game in 46 minuets it didn’t unlock (I’m on PC)
Dude i killed the lady at 56:24 and got to the stairs at 58:45 and it still didn't gave me the trophie
could i do it separetly like finish a chapter then if i die on the next one i restart only the last one

TheRussian You need to start a new game. I would recommend you to get all of the normal achievements first and then start a new game and complete it if you try to do the game platinum. If you fail you have to start all over again until you make it.
@@anastasiachann2191 This game doesn’t have a Platinum, just 100% and I die to the slugs every time - I hate speed runs and I think it’s even worse of Tarsier to add no deaths as well.

I feel like you were being way too safe on this run and ended up losing a bit of time because of it. As long as you back up your save file as much as you think you'll need to it's nothing intimidating. And my god, a 7/10?! You really think it's _that_ hard of a game? Probably a 2 or 3 for me. Anyways congrats, I'm about to go for mine now!
Without question the hardest part of the entire game/run are all of the awkward bridge structures you have to cross where it's easy to fall and 49:18 for sure.

Hard to the Core wouldn’t unlock at the end during credits. Loaded my game up again and the achievement popped before the main menu. Thanks Maka, you’re the best 👍🏼

After trying roughly 10x I finally got it! And, of all days, today! After waking up, have a good breakfast of champions and then boom, on my first run of the day! So glad I got it! Now I'm 100% ready for Little Nightmares II!!! Can't wait for your walkthroughs!!! :D

@@faithandplans Oh yea, I used the "cloud save checkpoint method".. only about twice. Honestly it brought down my anxiety more han anything so I can calmly do it correctly without worrying about messing up. But yea, I was so happy to finally complete it!! Lol. Luckily part 2 didn't have such a trophy.

Good job! actually 21:19 its actually not that hard all you have to do is climb up the ladder while hes staring at the boxes and move slightly to the right in the square hole, he'll sense you over there then you throw the monkey to distract him (to the left where you climb up the ladder) and then climb up the drawers and go to the next room!! ^^

I think I started a new game. Just to be on the safe side. Sometimes these timed achievements can be touchy about chapter select.
I'll torture myself to make sure, I have my phone prepared, I will tell you when I finally do it.
& I'll check if getting offline & getting back kills it.
