And so it begins. The joys of home ownership. We have tackled some small projects around the house but we have dreaded going on the roof or even looking at it for that matter, because it has been so intimidating. But this week, we bite the bullet.

Too funny, leaky roofs is a Nova Scotia right of passage, just like water in the basement. My wife and I moved to Annapolis_Royal in 2019. Bought a huge fixer upper.

Be super careful with the (possible)vermiculite insulation. It may contain asbestos.

Yes owning a house is just repair and repair. I am getting ready for a whole new roof and paint and new porch. And remodel inside kitchen bathrooms and staircase. And cover a fireplace that we never use. A lot of work. But I have friends to do it I mean roof and porch inside I can do with help
