Yaa... Right 😁 ruby is the only one person 😂 who productive
Tea
i mean, i am! if anyone wants tips, lmk!
@@luhvly4695 me too. I actually work more than before isolation because i dont go out
@@andjelina1670 I've always worked a lot, but it's much more calm and i don't have to squeeze it in after school, I have the whole day!
“do maths problem for fun” that one’s not for me
As "write a poem" is not for so many people. It's kind of sad how common it is to almost celebrate yourself for not being good at Maths. I don't mean it as an offense. Just think about how much more motivating it would be for students to study math, if they wouldn't hear from everyone else "Math is hard. I don't like Math. I was never good in it, too, so don't mind."
@@ilseettymariawijfjes615 I totally agree with you, but the more advanced math gets, the more it actually demands a brain that can make unusual, new connections. I would also say that often times teachers don't explain concepts in math very well, which then leads to students believing it's all just kinda made-up. As always it really just is a combination of genetic make-up and environment.
@@ilseettymariawijfjes615 When you dive really deep into maths you realize that in maths nearly nothing is just there. Everything is connected. For me there is no other subject that is more logical which makes it so beautiful. Maths is the language of the universe.
I do maths as a alevel subject so doing math problems for fun means me not taking a study break which is something I'm not keen on.😂
@@ilseettymariawijfjes615 That's not what they said, at all in fact. They were just commenting on how it's a common thing on being "bad at math and proud", which, if it were any other subject, people would definitely call others out on why everyone's fine with such a counterproductive thing. And I'm actually shocking at maths - a self-proclaimed "words, not numbers" brain - who only through hard work, and seeing the value in and how interconnected maths is as a whole, managed to get my first C in A Level maths. In second year. In February.
I learned the morse code last week out of boredom. There are great apps.
My family hasn't figured out that my knocking is me insulting them at the dinner table.
I was really interested in learning it too, what apps would you recommend?
Hahaha I'll try that one out xD
whahaha the 'my knocking is me insulting them at the dinner table' would be my motivation to learn morse
Roba Goreishi yh lol I’m so bored and looking for something to do. Suggestions for apps?
@@robagoreishi8419 I mean you could also just learn it without an app...
I’ve gotten into gardening over the quarantine period, I bought a small plastic greenhouse and I’ve been growing fruits, veggies and herbs. It’s fun and you get food out of it in the end.
PeppermintRose That's brilliant
wHaT sameee! but I've been growing flowers, and my sister is growing herbs !
Yaaaaas. I’ve been into gardening for years thanks to my granny. It’s nice that people don’t view it as a weird old people’s hobby now.
Wowh I was planning on doing that too! Imma start after finishing my chem homework!
Same! I'm so grateful that my family has a garden and we can spend our time outside.
What kind of vegetables/fruits/herbs are you growing?😊

-practicing football skills (I've always wanted to be able to do keepy uppys!)
-drawing
-playing games such as the new animal crossing and the Sims (75% off at the moment!!) This isn't really productive, but I find both games can be very relaxing and a nice way to escape the situation (obviously only do this healthily!).
-Doing a jigsaw with my mum
-Having time to sit in the garden and do nothing other than listen to the birds and feel the sun on my face
Hope everyone is okay!

This 3 minute video was much useful..
ua-cam.com/video/9NNRahmzano/v-deo.html
sis, I got your back! You can divide these things for particular days in the week, so you can easily complete all these activities in a week's time!
Through this corona virus outbreak, I’ve realized the importance in appreciating the little things in life. Having more time at home, I started doing some of the things like this video, such as, reading more, writing diaries, growing things, eating healthy, and last but not least, having family time. As a medstudent, i found that these little things are actually really important as most of the time I’m just really overwhelmed with life once the semester starts. Thankyou for this video and everyone won’t be depressed. It might be a time where we look back in life and take some plenty of rest. Praying🤎🤎
I wish every year we could all just have 3 weeks off to relax and be with family. Would do wonders for everyones health in this fast paced stressful world.
This helps me out a lot..thnx❤
Here's some more things to do :
Read blogs / start blogging
Sketch/ Paint/Doddle
Try origami or some diys
Choreograph dance on your favourite songs
Sing /record your songs/ do karoke
Play cards / board games
Try different nail arts
Do chores in the house
( Feel free to comment more suggestions 😊)
This is perfect too!
This is so underated
Extra:
Learn dancing it's very fun
Learn body language
Learn self defensive skills
You can make crafted handmade stuff like kitting etc..
Draw or Learn how to draw
Crashcouse videos
Make a book review on each book you read
You can also learn some basic computer programming if you already didn't
I organized my closet, Cooked for family, caught up with friends, played with pets and attended online classes 😊
i just dont have anything to do 😢 i cant live without my phone AAAAAA, I used to draw but i moved to my dads house and i dont have any color pencils or a. note to draw AAAAAAAAA
-trying to keep up with tons of school work
- trying to survive my toxic family
same, it's tough but you'll get through this
Yas!
Yess😅
literally me
Damn story of my life
“This quarantine”... I was kinda hoping this won’t turn into a regular occurrence
well it did 😻
Number three atm
this didn’t age well…. 😳
POV: it did
Yas Ruby, we really need this and I can’t wait to start cracking on that list. I’ve started relearning spanish on duo lingo. (I took it up to GCSE level). Loved the video💗
Could you do a day in the life in self isolation at home please?
this is highly unrelated, but I just want to thank you massively! The exam results for my dream scholarship are releasing tomorrow and while studying for it (even if it was five months ago) I used your channel to motivate and instruct me. If I pass, much, much, much thanks, and even if I don't, thank you anyway!!
Franchesca Mia Did you pass?
blueberrymuffin108 I’d take that as a no😭😭
@@blueberrymuffin113 I did pass, actually, thankfully! Thanks a ton to Ruby and to Holly Gabrielle, they're the best!
Franchesca Mia Wow, congrats! I‘m so happy for you :)
@@blueberrymuffin113 thank you so much!!!!
My favorite things to do in that lock down period.....
1. Studytube Project
2. Learn a New Word
3. Organise things
4. Learn a New Language (Korean at the moment)
5. Try to Write a Poem
6. Doing Workout every morning & night!

That's it! Thank you so much Ruby!! 💖❤😘✨💕
Stay Healthy! Stay Happy!😇
We love you!💗
I love how you are being so productive and are helping us be productive too!!! Stay safe Ruby and everyone!
I can never do math without freaking out and getting frustrated so I don’t think I’ll be doing that one 😂
Omg same. I suck at math, my brother gave up teaching me xD
Somebody made a mistake and accidentally put me in honors algebra. Plssss help I’m to dumb to be in that class 😭
Absolutely love this! So far I have had a huge clear out and spent a week deep cleaning and reorganising my room. After Alevels were cancelled I felt downhearted but I found taking time to reset so helpful and I can't wait to try some of these things in the coming weeks. Thank you so much Ruby!
You're what UA-cam needs in these times. All of these are great but my fave is digitally declutter. Many of us rely on our computers for storing, scheduling, and creating things. Organizing that takes some work, and this is the perfect time!
Ruby, You are the only one productive, and I got inspired by you to be exactly like you
My sister and I have decided to learn Morse code during self isolation. We’ve already learned some and we’re really enjoying it. We’re also going to write a Russian poem on it too. Thankyou Ruby for these great ideas!
Learn sign language! In summer of 2016 I was soooo bored and came across a really cool asl cover of a song. It got me soooo much into it that I'm still learning and want to obtain a certificate in ASL, International Sign Language and Polish Sign Language!
Oh yeah, I was writing along with watching and when I finished it, sing language came up haha
I absolutely loved this! Thank you Ruby for putting positive, fun, and well thought out ideas out there. It's helpful for me to see others staying positive during these lonely times ❤
If your lazy here is the list from the video (I know I'm over a year late but I also made for myself to copy and paste) but I would definatley reccomend watching the video as she explains each one and puts everything in more detail. :)

I’m so glad more people are becoming aware of the aspect of their overall health. Something that worked for me and helped me to improve my mental and physical well-being was Forwago.
So many good ideas! And many of them much more to my liking than what other youtubers recommend on their channels. I'd like to add:
- meditating (or learning to do so)
- calling your grandparents
- catch up with your "watch later"-list on UA-cam
i’ve watched like 37 of these and this is EASILY the best one, i might actually get off my phone 😂 thanks ruby x
I fully took your advice to clean out my digital space- I’ve been putting it off for literally years and my computer is so laggy. I just spent a few hours sorting through my files and cataloging them as well as deleting any I didn’t need, and now my computer is in the final stages of a factory reset. It’s weird how refreshed I feel just from this simple (but a little tedious) activity. So thank you!
This was brilliant! Thank you! Could you please do a video on motivation in lockdown as I have things to do but I just don't feel motivated enough to do them so a video about that would be much appreciated!
From a fellow lover of old-timey things
I am sure I speak for everyone, ruby makes everybody feel productive and happy ❤❤❤
Great video Ruby!
This quarantine period, I've:
1) Listened to an audiobook on a series (Unwind Series by Neal Shusterman)
2) I am currently reading a book required for my next semester
3) Followed an at-home workout
4) Practiced dancing at home
5) Organized my closet
6) Have almost made my bed everyday and kept clothes off the floor (lol)
Hey Ruby I love this video, it’s so helpful! I’m hard of hearing and wear hearing aids and I always read lips and I often use sign language when communicating so thank you so much for including learn sign language! I would love to see more people leading how to sign, the fact you included this in a video makes me,myself feel very included! Thank you and stay safe! ❤️❤️❤️
Hey Ruby! I don’t usually comment on videos & I don’t know if you’ll ever see this but I just wanted to let you know how much your videos, (especially ones like these), help me. I’m 19, but I’m not a student anymore as I dropped out of college due to mental health & I’m currently off work because of it too. I struggle with severe depression and simple tasks like even getting out of bed in the morning are difficult and I can’t always do it. I usually watch one of your videos if I’m feeling especially rough and your energy, positivity and kindness just radiates through your videos & makes me feel so much more productive and makes me want to strive to be my best self. I just wanted to let you know this because I wanted to let you to know how much of a positive impact you have! Keep doing what you’re doing & I hope you have a wonderful day 💛 xxx
your videos are so calming! i go from 'feeling overwhelmed' in life to like....hard work, focus, calmness, hot tea mindset
Thank you so much for this list! I've been in isolation since two weeks now and I'm really getting bored, even though I work full time and go to university at the same time. This gave me a lot of new ideas instead of just doing the usual ❤
Hey Ruby !
I wanted to thank you for these productive videos. It helped me to regain my confidence as I had a mental broke down because of my finals. I kept procrastinating my studies and regretted it so bad. Now I'll make this lockdown time useful and cover up all my mistake.
Thankyou, love ya :)
ruby always gives me motivation to be productive, it’s like magic

I've been teaching myself french plaits this quarantine! I've done a french braid every morning this week and it has honestly improved so quickly. Go for it!
New video and the theme is perfect! Love you so much, Ruby!
Seriously, I was just thinking: I need a video from Ruby!
You've inspired me to create a dreams book and it keeps reminding me that, even without school, I can still work towards it, you've helped me find my purpose again
Hi Ruby....thank you for sharing such good ideas😊
I cried while watching your video, Just because I felt like your such an amazing person. I genuinely wish that there would be more humans like you.
I honestly love your lifestyle sooo much!
I love your accent it's so soothing
A lovely video. So useful that I shared this with my students. Great to hear a young person speaking in a lovely, clear and articulate voice which is ideal for my ESOL students to understand. Thank you.
When Lydia and Ruby posts at the same time 🥰😱
Also dont forget to relax now and than... It s ok to sit and watch movies and be on phone sometimes and do nothing ... you are not being unproductive you are just chilling and trying to forget, get out of your head and recharge. Dont feel pressure to do things if you can not and feel bad if you are a little less able to do things . Everybody has its own tempo and rhythm dont compere yourself to others.
I'm surprised she managed to fit 50 different ideas into a 7 minute video. I'm very much impressed. Thanks for the ideas, Ruby 💕
this is the one of the only videos that actually have good tips! not the ordinary "watch a movie" ons :) thanks!
Glad you liked it!
“At this point I am really confused , what on earth u really don’t do “ 🙆🏻 love ur videos though 🙇🏻
Sachin Sharma she apparently can’t even do french braids which most 8 year-olds can do
@@nesrinisli6921 umm no I don't think ur ryt over there actually, even I don't know how to do french braids and I'm 15. But I think u should appreciate what she could do and not criticize for what she cannot and is yet to learn. Also I'm trying to be kind there not rude in case u take it tht way❤
Nesrin Isli stop being so jealous bruh 8 year olds can’t u saddo😂
buy a guitar
Idk why but this music in the background was making me feel what I can't put in words ! Even Idk what I was feeling ❤️
I have one assignment left and I’ve split it into 5 days of work. I’ve done 2 days so far. I also keep productive by UA-cam, switch, sorting out my room, decluttering my gadgets - I need to do my laptop. I have also started to learn a new language
Thank you Ruby...you always make me happy
thanks a lot. I really wanted to do any productive work in my holidays but I really have no idea what should I do so through this video i can easily spend my day productive again thanks a lot
I’ll organize my shopping from yesterday tomorrow 😜
I love your style and your awesome ideas!
Your videos are like meditation. Thank you Ruby. Much love ♥️
Learning a new language is a great tip^^
I started that actually
Diary writing and reading, like, actual reading with physical books you can hold in your hand.
Just ordered two volumes of Sylvia Plath's letters.
Last week I ran my first 5k without stopping and all the time I could hear the voice in my head saying that I can do it. Forwago, thank you so much for everything!!
that desk with the fountain pens have just captured my heart...
OMG thanks, Ruby !!! I needed this right now. I am living in my own studio and travel bans have made it challenging for me to go back to my family. Looking for new activities/hobbies to keep me occupied and less lonely.
0:22 that feeling when you are Russian and you are eating kasha at the same time 😂
Ok I’m sorry but kacha in my language means.......undwear😂

Ruby, this video is just absolutely wonderful, such lovely video for the current times we are in💗

I'm a 23 year old recovering addict. I am nearly 2 years clean. And the thing that really helps me is Forwago. I discovered about it a half year ago and I have been using it every day since. I feel there is still hope for me.
I love this video! Thank you so much for sharing those inspiring and useful ideas ❤️
I’m currently reading a lot, doing crosswords and finally learning a bit of Portuguese (I always wanted to do it!)
this video makes me feel so peaceful and happy and calm...
I always wanted to start learn Italian language. Now i have a time, of course when im done with my homework 😓
Buona fortuna! 🥰😉
You could try to learn it on Babbel! There currently is a code for 3 months free, it works super well for me. Just started learning Russian

Literally I have already done 30 among these .Thank you for sharing and you have missed the pivotal thing that makes all of us more productive: WATCHING RUBY GRANGER ON UA-cam :)
I was searching for this from so may days . Thank you so much for posting this
Ruby:'Do math problems for fun' during quarantine
*Me: struggling with math problems during exam*
You are an angel. Period.
This is amazing, thank you! It's so different from all the other "what to do if you are bored" videos that all seem to be quite the same. It's so much more creative and unique and productive, I love it!😘
As a Spanish poet, what you said in 5:20 got me so excited. I’m the same as you but the other way around; I’m Spanish but sometimes I write poems in English, which is of course not my first language. This quarantine is an amazing opportunity to create art!
God bless :)
I am speechless I love your videos soo much :)
I haven't been very productive so far on lock down but since watching this video I've been doing great! I would love a video on tips for online school or something like that. Thank you!!!
"Learn a new word" ...My favorite word that you don't see much is "gloaming". It's an Old English word for dusk, twilight, nightfall. Coincidentally, that is also one of my favorite times of day to take a walk. I did that today, and there was just enough light to see my path, and a herd of deer in the neighbor's field, but dark enough to see the stars coming out, and the Big Dipper behind the branches of the big oak tree. :)
The Minimalism Documentary is SO good, thoroughly recommend 👌
What a wonderful girl you are 🌼🌼 thank you Ruby for your productive videos
