The previous owner replaced the cracked flywheel and did a partial re-cap, I did the rest: faulty transistors in the input stage, broken fader pots, cold joints, slow VU meter timebase, improved autostop actuator circuit etc, check out the link above. Do not bother with these machines unless you get them dirt cheap (I got mine for under 5 bucks), these are not reliable and are geniously outdated, as far as 1980s tape machines go. If you do want to have an Eastern Bloc tape device, get something Hungarian or Soviet instead.
