The new 5 door has what is considered a goldilocks wheel base, is just a touch longer wheel base then the landrover range rover classic, discovery 1 and 2, it's also touch longer then a jeep xj, all are renowned off readers.
Awesome video Marlin it’s definitely one of the best versions I’ve seen so far. I’m glad you both took your cars it’s definitely great to see Drage Jimny out there wheeling it’s definitely turned out so nice. I’m glad that Darren looks like he made the weekend haven’t seen anything about him this year. I’m always looking forward to seeing you both in the next video 😊
The AllGrip system is slow to engage. It takes 4-5 full wheel turns to recognize that it needs to apply brakes on the spinning wheel. By the time the AllGrip system recognize the spinning wheel the car has come to a full stop and the process starts all over again. Sigh. Other manufacturers have way better systems. To make the best out of the AllGrip system you have to drive the car at slightly faster speed with a greater momentum. As this is not to my liking I bought front and rear auto difflockers from Kaiser in Brazil and now I can drive much slower and in a much more controlled manner than with the AllGrip. No regrets whatsoever as the price was way less than the ARB’s. My local ARB retailer wanted U$4’400 for front & rear plus installation. The Kaiser ones cost me U$2’200 installation included. This was a no-brainer for me. Yes, the ARB’s are the best the market has to offer, but they are not the most value for your money. - My opinion is that the Kaiser diff-lockers are way better, all things considered.
I've heard good things about the Kaiser diff-lockers - a lot of people have been happy with them so it sounds like you made a good choice. Personally I don't need diff lockers for my use but great to have it if you spend enough time off-road!
Great video, thank you guys!

Thanks as always Jeremy - glad I could fit everything into one video 😃 Darren was a champion showing us all how to do a proper recovery!
Great video, i didnt really get tonsee how the longbois went. Might have to chop and get some extra wheel base in the future
More longboi content to come ;)
Fantastic Video! Love the awning, were those lights built into it, or is that a separate attachment?
Thanks so much! They come with the awning and are built in - super convenient and easy 😃 I believe they will release it in a month or so!
