So glad you enjoyed my local parkrun. That Hill always get people on the third lap 😂. Really nice seeing you both hopefully bump into each other again soon.
I remember running really hungover and I got one of my quickest ever 5k times… I think i was going so fast because I wanted to get back to my bed ASAP 😅
Wow what a great effort! 👏 ha no motivation like getting back home for a nap! 😂 I can’t comment as I’ve not ever ran hungover but I can’t imagine it’s easy to PB!!! Thanks for watching Jo and for the support 😁
I now subscribed to ur channel so 176🎉.I have never run hungover as I don’t like the taste of alcohol!!! I love watching the 2 idiots run as you are so down to earth, while faster and younger than me I see that what you run is achievable and that gives me motivation.
Thank you so much Jayne ♥️ and I have to say, I’m currently planning that 5k training tips video you asked for, I’ll try my best to get it uploaded soon ☺️. I’m not much of a drinker to be honest so I haven’t ran hungover either - doesn’t seem very fun 😂 Thank you for your lovely comments and your continued support! It’s so nice to hear that we’ve motivated you 👏 keep us posted on your running progress, we’d love to hear and so glad that you’re enjoying the videos! Thanks for celebrating two Parkrunning idiots 😂♥️
As someone who hasn't been able to drink properly for years i have to say i don't recognise Chris's condition as hungover. Its so bad that i rarely drink but if i have a few drinks, i am not doing anything the next day and not much more day 2! 2nd question the wife got me a medal hanger to go on the wall
I’m not a big drinker either Ollie - I’m asleep after a couple of glasses of wine 😂 don’t do drunk or hungover! Can’t cope with a multiple day hangover haha. Ooh lovely - I definitely need to get one of those, such a great present! Thanks for watching and stopping by again ☺️ we appreciate it!
@@those2runners my phone was robbed by a guy on a bike and few seconds later he dropped it on the road. I guess it’s because my phone is too old and not valuable 😂 that happened just before Christmas then got a perfect present 🎁 😉
@@yifanzhang4170 oh no! What a horrible person he was and what a stressful situation that must have been! But at least you got a new one for Christmas ♥️
Do people run parkruns sober? I'll have to give that a try some time! The worst occasion for me was after my mates stag night in Nottingham. I dragged my sorry frame out my pit at 8am after getting in at 3or 4 am. Ran 3 mile there there and back and managed to place 2nd. I'd have been first if it wasnt for the jagerbombs! 🤣🤣 I got some new running socks 🤣
Apparently so 😂 as if you still came second, you’re an absolute machine!! I think I would’ve died 😬. Nowt wrong with new running socks - great gift! Thanks for continuing to support two numpties running around a Parkrun mate! 😄
Interesting run. We don't have Parkruns (or very many of them) in the US. Would be nice to have a free one once in a while when the racing calendar is idle. And yes, the Garmin will cut a course short if there are a lot of turns. Always makes me wonder what I actually ran when that happens. Never run hungover. Never been hungover in my life. I've run after eating too much or sick (definitely not fun) but that's one thing I haven't done: run hungover. About a week after Christmas I picked up a sweet deal on some Saucony racing shoes - so that was my Christmas present. Carbon plated ones that were about 33% off of retail (from their website no less). I also wear the Brooks GTS Adrenaline. They are a solid training shoe but a bit too heavy for 5K / 10K racing. Enjoyed the video.
Hey Eddie - so glad you enjoyed the video! It’s a shame there aren’t many in the US, they’re such good fun and I think a good leg loosener for a Sunday race running the day before! It’s so annoying when Garmin does that - but more annoying in actual race conditions when your watch runs short - especially if you’ve got a PB! I don’t think I’ve run hungover either - to be honest, Chris and I aren’t really big drinkers, so it was a rare occasion for Chris to be feeling worse for wear! I’ve ran when ill lots of times though - I’m not very good at resting 😬 Great deal on the Saucony’s! I got some too this Christmas (spoiler alert - they may pop up in the next video!). How are you finding them? Chris runs in the Brooks as they’re great for his Achilles tendinitis 😊 Thanks for the support 😊 we really appreciate it!!
@@those2runners I haven't received the shoes yet. I don't think they've left the warehouse. I think they are the Saucony Pros. First time doing the carbon plated route. Hopefully they help me turn in some faster times. All the races here in the US are pretty much "for profit" or charity. So not many free races. Would be nice to show up from time to time and simply do a 5K time trial for free.
@@runningoneddie you’ll really notice a difference with them. I have Nike Vaporflys and they’ve really helped me to improve my times! Yes, a lot of the races in the UK are similar - which is what makes Parkrun so good! It’s such a lovely community too! Good luck with the new shoes - let us know what you think when you’ve ran in them 😁

Yes we loved it, thank you 😊 and it definitely got me the third time 😅! Yes I’m sure we’ll cross paths again! Thanks for watching 😃

Well done Chris for even making it to parkrun 🤣
