    This Video makes me think of Happy times. The 90s & Early 2000s was the Golden/Silver age when the realms were touched by the Heavens(God). And when Music Videos had LIFE and COLOR and SOUL to them. The Nostalgia gives you that Vibe where Life felt like you were in Another Dimension back then like Heaven on Earth. Reminds me of waking up in the morning in the Summertime and how everyone would be outside, and when the Air was FRESH and PURE. Seemed like the Sun always Shined those days. People were more Real and knew how to come together and Live and Kick it. Good times...

    • @retrovcr777
      @retrovcr777 5 місяців тому +2

      Everything was about boosting your confidence, and uplifting back then… now it’s all about trying to flex on the next person, or make everything a competition… it’s very perplexing how the human mind works. I remember feeling like no matter where I went I always still felt like I was in the comfort of my own home, and even strangers felt like family. Everything, and everyone was full of life, and now It’s like everything is the complete opposite. The light, and sun rays literally don’t even shine, or glisten off your skin like they used to. The sky’s aren’t as blue as they once were, and the clouds don’t look the same anymore. Everyone is dead inside, and the genuine smiles aren’t the norm like they were 20+ years ago. Nothing is colorful as it once was, and it almost seems like there’s a grey tint over everything now even on the bright, and sunny days. Peoples sense of humor isn’t even the same, and have become heartless. Also it’s much deeper than social media ruining everything. Someone may read this, and think I’m being cynical, or pessimistic, but I never once said I dwell on these things, can’t find joy in the present moment, stay stuck in the past, or not thankful to be alive still. Things could always be worse, but I know what I’m saying is the truth, and God knows it.

    Damn I feel old watching this (26 now)! Me and my sister was both jamming to this song back in '02 and I'm a guy! This summer...hell all the summer's of the early 2000s had amazing and feel good music. They call the era when the Disney movies such as The Lion King, Aladdin, Milan etc, the Disney Renaissance because all those movies were just great. I truly feel from 2000-2005 this was Hip Hop/RnB Music Renaissance. You just felt something good in the air when music during that time came on the radio, and it was a time before true digital downloading and we all had our CD/Album collections. This was a time when we was watching 106 & Park Top Ten Live w. AJ & Free, MTV Jams, TRL, etc. Just a great time for music in general!!! Miss those days!

    Ashanti came and got famous after Aaliyah but the worlds most talented record lady of year 2000 and that era was Queen and Angel Aaliyah. Aaliayas music was so advanced that even you listen to her tracks today, it sounds like a new song. God took best singers so early, Bob Marley, 2Pac, Aaliyah and Michael J. Later came Beyonce, Rihanna JLO, Keisha Cole, etc.

I'll never forget they would play this religiously on one R&B radio station down there and they would always play "Happy" back-to-back with "Foolish" or a new "Hit of the Day" like Truth Hurts' "Addictive".
