Got the PDP Pro SD compact and it’s an amazing firearm! The trigger is the best out of the box trigger in the market! I installed the ZR Tactical 15LBS stainless steel guide rod and I am super happy and pleased with it! Thank you for your great review.
Pretty much the same gun as the German Special Forces (KSK). The commando soldiers call it P14 and the comact P14K (K for "kurz aka "short"). The SD btw does not mean "silenced" but "Schalldämpfer" aka "silencer". I'm jealous, I have to wait for mine.
@MDpolo it is everything I have heard and more. It has to be the best striker-fired trigger I have ever felt in my years of handling them since their inception. My only grip is the mags; for those of us that want to carry it, the 18 rounder is just not concealable. I carried it appendix and it was OK, but certainly not ideal. 2 18s and a flush 15 that could be used with removal of the mag well would have been welcomed by me. I ordered a 15 round pdp mag for it that will be here on Tuesday! I love love love this pistol!!!!
Now that’s what I call “a sign”!!! I Placed a Pro SD in a shopping cart of my favorite on-line retailer just this past evening. I usually allow for a modest amount of rumination before committing to a purchase. Just to be sure. Well. I am 44 seconds into your video and I think I have my answer!! Could not find a compact in stock anywhere (being in a 10 round state makes finding anything a bit more challenging) but at less than 7 Benjis the 5” will do very nicely. But first lets see what you have to say…
A sign provided by data kraken inc. You talk about dog food and an ad shows up quickly. In lots of reviews most tend to recommend the 4.5'' or 5'' version for less flip but there'll be a target version too.
I really like this pistol and this trigger is just phenomenal and we all know Walther ergonomics is a winner and I don't think Ive ever had a better feeling on any pistol.
I just got a PDP 5 inch model at a price I couldn't refuse. I've been trying to get the dynamic performance trigger for some time now for my other PDP but Walther sells them out so quickly. Nice review as always, sir! 👍🏻
I also was not enamored with the regular PDP. I had the full size 4” and was not really impressed and went down the road for something else. So , my question is, what made you give the Pro version a look? Because you e got me intrigued, especially with that trigger. Thanks. Btw, nice review as always.
Love mine. I do want to point out that the trigger pull is not 3lb. Stock it’s a high 4 to low 5lb trigger pull. If you get the light trigger spring kit from Springco it can take it down to 3lb. You may be pulling too quick with the trigger gauge, which can result in an artificially lower trigger pull
Go with the PDP, I went through the same thought at my time of purchase, the q5 had an awesome price. Read the warranty and was shocked, you get no warranty on the q5 other than walther's 30 day money back guarentee. Their lifetime warranty is only good on guns in production.
Nice video, I have the PDP Pro SD and just received the optics plate. However, there is a gap at the front and back of the plate. What optics mounting plate did you use?
@@MDpolo Thanks for the update. I've wanted this gun for a while and ordered one yesterday. I also have a comp from Herrington Arms so I'll let you know how it goes.

Unbelievable trigger! I can feel it just by seeing and hearing it in your vid. Mine arrives on Wednesday! Super stoked!!!
Right on! Congratulations on your purchase. Let me know how you like it. Thank you for stopping by.

I am wanting this gun! I have the Springfield Echelon but this is just a beautiful pistol! 👍

I hope you can get the DPT trigger. It’s so amazing! As always, thank you for stopping by.
Wow, what a stout looking pistol! This one looks like it has all the goodies, but the trigger must be the real darling here. 👍👍
The trigger is phenomenal. Thank you very much for stopping by
Looks pretty sweet.

You didn’t like the compact 4” PDP?
I wanted to try the dynamic performance trigger. And let me tell you, it’s pretty special.
@@e.t.2230 I’ve not tried the compact, I had the full size. Maybe if I had the compact I might have liked it. Maybe I’ll revisit it at some point.

I’ll put the Canik Rival as best striker fired trigger. The new PDP triggers are nice
What can anyone say anything bad about Walther pistols they make some of the best out today
Fort Smith here. Walther US factory is less than 10 min from me. I need one. Thinking about the Q5 Match or this

I gotta get one of these❤

Hello. Mine is from ZR Tactical Solutions. Thank you very much for stopping by.
Are you going to try it with a comp? Curious how it would perform.
I do have a comp for it and it doesn’t make a difference. Specially with hotter ammo. Thank you very much for stopping by.
@@MDpolo Thanks for the update. I've wanted this gun for a while and ordered one yesterday. I also have a comp from Herrington Arms so I'll let you know how it goes.
I purchased a pdp pro sd and I am really interested to hear your thoughts on the Harrington comp. Would you consider making a video on it?
I’ll put it on my to do list. But let me tell you, I’m very impressed and it has been 100% reliable. I love it.
@@MDpolo Thats great to hear. And sounds great thank you so much!
@@johndudley6841 You are most welcome.
Great video! What optics are your running on your PDP?
Trijicon RMR. Thank you very much for your kind words and for taking the time to stop by.
Ok so you never told us what lb. recoil spring you replaced the factory one with. Also is that a gen one or gen two with the different grip pattern.
It’s a 13 pound spring.
Do you have the comp installed?
I do now. I did not have one at the time of filming. Thank you for stopping by.
Hey md. Can that trigger be installed into any other firearm?
To be honest with you, I don’t know. Not something I’ve looked into. Please let me know if you find the answer. Thank you for stopping by.
Can you please share the link for ZR tactical. Thanks.
I can’t. UA-cam doesn’t allow that. But just type ZR Tactical Solutions on Google and it’ll come right up.
