I thought about this idea and I almost started the first steps to patent it then I saw this video and damn it i was so sad to see it already exists and so happy in the same time that I thought about it without knowing it's already exists but hey i will keep thinking about new things 🙂
it's hard to know who came with the idea first, because while Virror was in it's very early stages, there were also other people toying around with that idea at that time (there ware two blog called Kinect Hacks about that kind of stuff), but they were mostly incomplete concepts, I think we're one of the few who have a complete solution now, the only competitors I'm aware of are face cake and fitnect.
Still need some serious software guys to build this type of stuff, and I think a lot of people would be leery right now because the NSA (and all 'law' enforcement) can snoop, take pictures then too, and would then be watching everyone in the store. So, thanks again NSA for ruining something that could have been cool. Otherwise I think the technology is fantastic, and some day somehow we'll get past the idiots that are trying to own us and we'll be able to enjoy what technology has to offer.

Nothing will be able to replace trying clothes on for real. The way clothes FIT and how they feel cannot be replicated by a visual. Our skin is our largest sensory organ, we rely on it much more than our eyes. We'll see how long it lasts when everyone starts bringing their clothes back after finally getting the try them on for real once they get home - who wants to make the drive back to the store when you can just try them on for real in the first place. Nice try though, it LOOKS cool, but i don't think it will feel nice.
