BEDMAN WOOOO YEAHHH WOO YEAH BEDMANNN YEAHH (decided to make the list alongside the video, planning to keep it short) -Throw & Air Throw: Both are S-A tier with weaknesses; Throw builds Burst very quickly BUT gives insane oki and combos in the corner, and Bedman's air throw gives him an autotimes safejump no the entire cast (and has the biggest range in the game) -2K: Its a big 2K with ehh reward, B tier -5H: Pendulum normal; Great hitbox, 2nd hit allows insanely high damage BNBs, but its inconsistant, not jumpcancelable (auto Burst point ://) and the 2nd hit often whiffs. Also B tier -5K: ok hear me out. Bedman needs to condition his opponent into predictive RPS between 5K jc > Hover > Button, 5K > 6H frametrap, and 5K empty hop to bait AA. 5K isnt good because of the move itself, its good because of its gatlings and the niche applications it has depending on the matchup, example; Bedman 5K completely invalidates Slayer 2K, 2H, and 2D. Slayer 2K is +4 so being able to just tell him to take a hike is awesome, but its very specific. tldr the move is VERY goated due to VERY specific things. Its the hardest Bedman normal to get used to. -j.D: While not something that is broken all the time, the times where you should use it, its absolutely unfair. An IOH on the entire cast, that nets full damage BnBs with 50%, does ridiculous dmg for an air norma, covers a space almost no jump normal covers in GG, and did you know its a Lv4 normal that is +4 on block? S+ tier. -Task B: A tier? burst movement combo ender go nyoom -j.H: Newbie slayer and all around pretty unique normal regarding its function in pressure; auto baiting Dead Angles and Bursts and cracking RISC. This move is programmed to make your opponent *not* want to sit there for 2 seconds blocking high. Its a very funny move, even if its useless anywhere outside of pressure. A tier... maybe B -5P: Emergency 6P against low IAD with little to no reward on reaction. Personal C tier normal v_v -6P: You know that unused plate in the Pokémon games' code that allows Arceus to become ??? type? That is this normal. Its permanently stuck in a quantum position of insanely broken and turbo ass LOL. Hits super high, good active frames, has CROSSUP hitboxes since the Bedframe's head is *also* a hitbox, and has insane CH untech time, allowing combos even on trade. But... the hurtbox is dookie and this is all assuming that you trade, and not outright get beaten. If you love gambling, you love using 6P. If you dont like gambling, you will still have to use 6P sometimes, you just need to AA. -c.S: Goated normal, crazy huge range for a close Slash normal and hits pretty damn high. S!! -f.S: B tier. You put it well, its far reach and reliability is pretty nice. -2S: B-A tier. A no proration low! That hits at frame.... 12. Kinda bad hurtbox move with long nose reach that has almost no recovery, goading people into IADing at you which allows for 6P > c.S > Task C yippieeee -6H: Very tough to rate. Pretty slow but has *really* stupid reach with the forwards movement. Very good pressure move in the corner with a Deja Vu backing you up. B tier, maybe A after more experimenting -5D: Bedman is a visual noise infested character so you'll land some Dusts here and there. VERY GOOD in the corner, allowing for Task A Prime combos with the wallslump which are extremely nasty to block afterwards, and midscreen the corner carry from c.S-f.S-c.S-TK Task B is like... 80% of the stage lmao. Still a C tier normal though, at least on PC. -2D: Very large, but slow sweep that has the potential to start Task A sendoffs, Task B enders, or Task A Prime oki. Good active frames (esp useful against Dandy Step), alright hitbox/hurtbox ratio too. -j.S: What I want you to do is this. Superjump up until about 80% superjump height, then do Hover, down, and j.S. Congratulations, its 8 active frames and good hitbox will make the cogs in peoples heads visibly create sparks out of confusion figuring out what to do against it. Jokes aside, its a very good allround aerial that gets all of its shine from how well Hover movement is utilized. creating dropping walls of j.S' like the example above is very safe, does good damage, and buys tim eto scout of opponents habits; how they solve the j.S wall helps understand how they will try to solve your pressure once you have established it. A tier imo, but not S. Oh and the reason why its a great tech button if the opponnt isnt on top of you is because the hitbox is so horizontal and active, making them run into it. -1/2/3H: S+ tier. These normals are so incredibly fun to use. Good zoning normals that doo great damage and make your opponent feel scared about doing anything, anywhere if they arnt constantly reminding themselves of its existance. Grounded CHs always pop up and knockdown, giving a nice combo into Task C if you have the awareness, and the move is able to be YRCd very late into its animation. Maybe thats because of the fact that it has FOURTEEN active frames... Hmmmmmmmmmmm... -Hemi Jack: Lack of prayer has caused our Lord to be rendered powerless in todays meta. Only a few still practice His preachings. Letting our Lord consume the opponent is the equivelent of winning 10 full matches, making it worth to summon Him sometimes. For gaffs. H tier... -Sinusoidal Helios: B tier GOD this super sucks but the fact that its +11 and big as hell means it always will have applicatio to deny oki, even if you wont hit them for going for said oki. Btw this super is so slow post superflash (6+8f) that people can meaty you, see the superflash, YRC their button, and throw you before the super comes out. Yep. Awesome. -j.K: B tier i guess? What you said about 5H is how I feel about j.K. If this normal didnt exist Bedman would be non functional, but to say its a good normal would be giving it too much credit. -Task A: S+. Core of Bedmans starting gameplan and everything he does revolves around it. Bedman is only 20% of a character in neutral if he doesnt use this special. -Task C: A tier. Good combo ender with good frame advantage; it gives a Deja Vu C Seal, the best one of them all! (Air Task C sucks the better you get unfortunately 😔 -Task A' (aka Task A Prime): C tier. Kind of just. really bad if the opponent knows its key weakness (Blitz > throw OS to autobeat everything). -SIGN 6H: S tier. You could do 2K > 6H on block and the delay would make it a 50/50 between that and 2K delay 2D. Yeah. Staggered on CH and had some throw invuln too, for some reason. -Deja Vu: S+. All of them. Broken ass moves. Task A replay autowins neutral, Task A Prime is the base version but with no recovery, Task B grants super dumb pressure, and Task C does high damage while enabling 50/50s from most knockdowns into repeat scenarios. Did you really believe me when I said Id keep this short? Im a Bedman player, you should have known better; Shame on you. (Love the vids, cant wait for the next one
"Did you really believe me when I said Id keep this short? Im a Bedman player, you should have known better; Shame on you." Are you sure you arent JUST Bedman? That sounds like his kind of yap to me.
bed slop yipe To give my input as someone who has played bed for some months now, I feel like you underestimate 2S; I like using it a ton. It has a lot of horizontal range, no proration, combos into 5H(2) at close range, is bedman's lowest profile move, and “combos” pretty reliably into 2H on block (which frametraps as well, coupled with the launching property of 2H, it can net a small combo into oki). The only downside is that its extremely easy to go over and its rather slow overall. Something I like to do is do tk A' on oki so that it teleports bed to the other side, where you can do 2S for a "true" crossup with a 3 frame gap (or 2K for safety). If A’ is done from a bit further away it can also not teleport bed to the other side. It’s a gimmick, but it sometimes works. Also, I don’t recommend using task B in neutral or task C to anti air.
I just loved doing task c after jump dash up to make ghost beds fall from the sky, practicality be damned. Also, I think the way to say it is "Task A Prime", apostrophes are often used to mean prime.
Bedman main here! A few Bed knowledge you might appreciate for some of those "WHO???" and etc normals: -5K is not that remarkable, but it has its uses. Most of the time, it's combo filler, but you can also jump cancel out of it to start your 8-way Magneto airdash. Sure, c.S and f.S does the same, but 5K could be an occasional option to vary your jump cancels and throw off your opponent who might be looking for it. Other than that, it's for a pickup after ground throw in the corner (I'll explain in the 6H section). - 6H is used for two things, one common and one specific. First is for RISC cranking, second is conversion out of ground throw from midscreen. Throws in the corner gains you a combo that sets up H seal (5K > j.K > 86 > j.KS > 236H), but that combo DOES NOT WORK in any other part of the screen. This is where 6H becomes a substitute, which (from my information) SHOULD land against most opponents, which looks like 6HH > 236S (cancel the 3rd hit of 6HH for S seal setup, do 4 hits for corner carry but no seal). - j.S is as Dustloop says, pretty cracked. The reason Leon doesn't see it as such might be due to playstyle, which from what I noticed tends to stay up close and personal. j.S is mighty useful in certain matchups, especially those that have big range (like Ky) AND those who tends to play in the air when approaching (like Answer). j.S' best quality when compared to the other air normals are is its range, hitbox, hitstun, and damage. It's a great option during the neutral game. I was about to comment on 6P too, but honestly I'd just be parroting what Leon said. Below average anti-air hitbox and hurtbox wise, but better reward. With how unreliable 6P usually is, honestly just stick with 5P/j.P/airthrow in most situations. Overall, I mostly agree with Leon's comments and tier list. I apologize if I sound like an armchair analyst, but I hope this info might be useful for those who are interested in reading through it all, especially with how endangered Xrd Bedman players are...
Okay what do we do to get this on every character in every fg? Rly so much better than any "oh zangi is forever S tier, I can't name any of his move but I still making tier list"
slop is back on the menu also i was doing one of these for mollo earlier today and it's really funny how every non-bomb kill move he has is extremely mid i'd give some insightful comment on bedman or the video but i uh. don't play gear
4:44 jH is weaker than jP in neutral or scrambles, but its a pain to block triangle-dash jH meaty or with the corner. guess how many of these six hits you have to block high before bedman lands with 2K (or throw or fuzzy jD). possibly with some deja bullshit obscuring your vision to make it extra challenging. and if you do block it out correctly, bedman still locks you down long enough to land safely and run pressure
Real talk it'd be mad hypocritical of me to get paid from ad revenue and then install an adblocker. The internet has absolutely gone insane with it but ultimately if I want to get paid from it I should at least suffer through the hell I benefit from.
I can hear the coney influence when you talk normally its great lol
how can one man be so wrong but so right in the span of 14 minutes
Damn this dude making slop
Fell off
Leon when will i see you on Strive?
I'd like to see you do better😤😤😤
Some cloneology content
*me, who knows nothing about guilty gear, or even fighting games as a whole:* “ah, yes, the floor here is made out of floor”
I love this lowkey leon so much, he really does NOT care and its fucking hilarious. keep this shit up man I love it.
shoutout that kaylo guy big fan

He has taken over my ass like the symbiote since 2017
Yes yummy slop and sludge thank you. I cannot wait until the inevitable video about robo-ky’s moves. :3
seeing players I fight often in these videos feels weird lol
"Socially-acceptable Arakune" is an oxymoron, becoming unloveable for playing it is an innate part of the archetype
There is no "Socially Acceptable", there is only "Minimal Death Threats" for characters like Arakune
bed slop yipe

Watching the game footage made me kinda upset
Why does Bedman not have a blanket? The man is cold, give him a blanket
dont worry the explosion warmed him up

Okay what do we do to get this on every character in every fg?
Rly so much better than any "oh zangi is forever S tier, I can't name any of his move but I still making tier list"
Katamari music heard, instant like.
I’m… I have to make my own list now holy shit
Elena tier list next!
I love slop
I just got xrd today and am playing bedman, so I think you’re watching me Leon
slop is back on the menu
also i was doing one of these for mollo earlier today and it's really funny how every non-bomb kill move he has is extremely mid
i'd give some insightful comment on bedman or the video but i uh. don't play gear
ANOTHER TIER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bedman has the biggest airthrow range in the game and gives oki. Skill isue
I really wanna see Leon react to venom in strive
I believe it'd be "Task A prime" not "Task A apostrophe"
Hold on lemme make your job easier. *clears throat*

making use of your C grade GCSE in identifying bedman moves i see
good job peon cassey
Pog leoooon pog poooooog
As someone who has never played Bedman let alone Xrd I'm gonna take this as gospel now (joke)
bedman got me to stick with gg bc his inputs are simple, he's an odd character, and if you can get going his pressure is insane
should also mention uhhhh if his 6h was + on block the world would look a lot different
ssx3 spotted
Man I just wish that bad man was a better character
MORE TIERS Skeletonpls
