- Bill and Ron call a truce for ANZAC Day as the rangers commemorate the ANZACs.
In Gallipoli, Australian and New Zealand soldiers fought alongside each other, later coined the ANZACs (Australia New Zealand Army Corps). They went on to fight together in many campaigns since.
On the 25th of April every year we remember those who fought for a better world. To commemorate those who have fallen we attend dawn services and wear poppy flowers. The poppy's signify the poppy's in Flanders Fields on the Western Front.
This year, because of COVID 19, people are being encouraged to stand in their driveway at 6am to show respect. #standatdawn
In this episode the boys bake ANZAC biscuits. These biscuits were baked in Australia and NZ and posted to the front in Europe. The legend says they were sent to the front, but in fact they were baked for bake sales.
Please note, all crew and performers are in the same isolation bubble.
