I’ve shot clays for 13 years and just bought my first proper air rifle. This tutorial is excellent - had it zero’d within about 10-15 minutes. Thank you. 👍🏻

Good video mark, I like your videos, good info without the waffle. I enjoy zeroing scopes on airguns, not so much on rifles where it's noisier, more expensive and miles of walking to see the impacts. Springers definitely a bit trickier to get just so.

haha, my mouth was wide agape when I noticed that. "the scope can be miles out" *the camera man stands next to target*.

@@kgrayson655 To be honest , here in the uk, basic gun safety isn’t really taught as thoroughly (if at all, depending on where you are) because the guns pose less of a threat. Shotguns are rare and rifles even rarer. It doesn’t take a genius to always stand behind the smart end of the rifle though.

I think this is a regulated airgun. But how to zero a scope on an unregulated airgun?

Way to complicated explanation. The most simplest way is to take a shot at the target, reload the gun and aim at the target again, now keeping the gun still and stable using the cross hair adjusters move the cross hairs onto the hole you just made with your shot, now aim the gun back at the target by moving the gun not using the cross hair adjusters, take your shot at the target and you will hit it bullseye.
This type of zeroing is done using your eye, none of the confusing guess work associated with his method, it’s straight to the point easy to understand no bull job done.
