Good explanation but im sorry to say that this thumbnail is the ugliest one I've ever seen, it has nothing to do with demonstration of the difference between 3ds max vs blender and etc.
If you have seen other video you dont need any new info. Max is a great tool for archiviz (though it is really powerful in modelling too but Maya is way better, and Blender is trying to catch up Maya - also it is open source), for modelling and animations purpose you better use something else like Maya, Blender, C4D. I mean the freelancers or the indies - otherwise you have to work in the software used in your offce.
Other than the laughable statement about Blender being stable I have to say I also see the parallel with Linux. Both have many glaring UX holes and users who don't hesitate to defend such UX-fouls no matter how bizarre they are.
Hmmm i would like to learn Max too but it give some issues randomly, for exemple when i got some malware and used antivirus - Max just stops to function without ANY explanation of what files are corrupted, after that i reinstalled my OS - and it works but gives me the warnings of - Runtime error - NET runtime exception (and i am not sure if this will do any influence in the future), and Corona just refused to install the Material library (ther are some warnings but i am not a programmer after all, i mean -WTF why must i read over Autodesk forums in search of the remedy?) - what? It was fine before the OS reinstall! Oll other software - Zbrush, 3dCoat, SubstancePainter, Marmoset, Photoshop work fine! (not sure about Maya - not tried it because learn Blender)
It really is. I already put tgis here but repeat :)"Hmmm i would like to learn Max too but it give some issues randomly, for exemple when i got some malware and used antivirus - Max just stops to function without ANY explanation of what files are corrupted, after that i reinstalled my OS - and it works but gives me the warnings - Runtime error - NET runtime exception - (and i am not sure if this will do any influence in the future), and Corona just refused to install the Material library (ther are some warnings but i am not a programmer after all, i mean -WTF why must i read over Autodesk forums in search of the remedy?) - what? You're right, but partially...
