Hey guys. Again, so sorry about flubbing "Blue Cat". My brain must have been half turned off when I shot this video. Anyway, let me know if you have any favorite free plugins for ambient guitar, or if there are particular types of free plugins you would like me to look at in a future video. Thanks!!
No apolgy needed. My Friday night medicine is just kicking in and I was making a gentle joke that was meant to be in keeping with Mr Ross' serene images, rather than happy accidents. Always good to log in to the Chords of Orion.
In the 6:04 you made me cry because that particular sounds remembered me something I thought I forgot. For 10 seconds my mind disconnected and I could feel the real happiness, I could even feel it and smell it. I don’t know why that happened... Thank you, sir.
At around 7:15 you created some ambient sounds that are very like the intro guitar to the song Darkest Dreaming by David Sylvian. Some amazing free plugins, thank you.
These are great! Capable of some seriously beautiful, and some truly crazy sounds. For something quite different, the free FuzzPlus 3 from Audio Damage, it has feedback and resonance filters that allow you to squeeze out some truly strange sounfscapes.
I got Neural DSP's Soldano plugin a few months ago and I get the tones I have been looking for years. I've recently learned that recording with effects on the track or tracks directly can cause issues. I've been looking for a delay plugin that acts like the delay in Neural DSP. It looks like the Bubbler will do that and well.
Yes good plugins, is no need to spend so much money like Strymon blue sky pedal and etc. Also you can try and EOS on Audio damage plugin and Black hole is perfect for guitar swells. Great and beautiful atmospheres.
Wow! That is amazing! I was looking for a software solution to my ambient pedal board. I love that delay Bubbler! Do you know if there is such a pedal? Also, I am curious about the eleven rack and wonder if it can replace amps and be used with pedals like volume and others?
@@chordsoforion I am very new to guitar plugins so dont have that much idea about that. If plugin sound better for recording than processor then i will dig in to that topic. I want some experienced person suggestion.
Which one of the downloads for the Blue Cat Stereo Chorus am I suppose to download running MacOs High Sierra 10.13.4 to access the software in Logic Pro X (10.4.1) from the blue cat's stereo chorus links: Mac AAX, Mac AU, Mac RTAS, Mac VST, or Mac VST3? Let me know and thanks as always for your awesome videos :)
It's simple, when you open that link, you have 2 bundles exposed in "columns", in the left is the Freesound Bundle and in the right is the Delay Bundle. You have to go down and you will see the direct links to download for Mac and Windows. You can't download just one, you have to download the full bundle (anyway, it's just 10 megas more or less).

If you're still active I'd love to find a vst that does blues guitar... specifically the chris rea sound

its mindfulness
You're like the bob ross of music. Seeing you in the process is so calming, plus I learned a lot!
latinfenderale HA! This is SO spot on!!
Agreed ! He doesn't make mistakes here, just happy accidents ;-)
Some may find him calming, others find him very creepy like a mortician or something similar.
You've been my go-to-guy for anything related to ambient stuff. I will never thank you enough for your reviews/comments/messiah work.

you are so gifted in knowing these stuff...
The bubbler is a must have! As well as using it on guitar, I can imagine it on a Juno pad as a way to add some mystery to the Juno's warmth.
Yes! I think it would rock on a Juno!

Sounds like good stuff for making post rock music. Thanks for these!
Oh my God...the Bubbler with a bit of the octave setting and some deep reverb? Oh man...buying that tonight!!
Sweet! No buying needed though. Just download!
Chords Of Orion Yup...noticed that. Free is the BEST price! lol I downloaded their will pack. Can't wait to play around with it!
Thanks a lot for these Bill, gonna check them out right now, much appreciated!
Hope you like them!!!
Thanks for the excellent demos - inspired me to try the soundhack effects and have been impressed with them. Great channel!

There are definitely some great plugins out there. I have demo videos on the EOS and the Blackhole here on the channel. They are both great!
Thanks Bill the delay sound very cooooool and free :) :)
The ++bubbler is really great!!
YEEEESSS! BLUE CAT! !!
I like to use the 12 string preset :)
The delay sounds like it's stretching the sample. Cool!
Found and downloaded, I guess I don't know how to install.
I'm drinking from the BUBBLAH! Nice!
Any synth plugin recommend for guitar and bass?

I believe the Mac AU.
Chords Of Orion Thank you! I downloaded the AU and it worked perfectly. It's a funky cool plug-in :)
At 9:30 I'm really intrigued by the reverb you used. What is that?
It is the ChromaVerb, which comes with Logic Pro X. Here's a vid I did of it: ua-cam.com/video/xOH7NMZn7KE/v-deo.html
Thanks!
I use PC - Sonar and Cubase 9.5
Nice plugins! But, I couldn't find any "easy" and "clear" download links in SoundHack++Bubbler page. Can you help me find that? :D
Me neither.

Adrian's instruction are right on!
Thank you so much!!!!
Lord stannis!
Deam he looks like davos hahahaha
My thought too :D
Also, check out "Eos" by AudioDamage. It's a great reverb that I often plop on a guitar or snare bus and blend in.
