  • Hello and welcome to Stingray Tom's Florida
Today's video is about the 3 car ferries that work on the Florida's St. Johns River. The St. Johns River Ferry in Jacksonville, The Ft. Gates Ferry near Ocala National Forest and the Drayton Island Ferry at the north end of Lake George. These are historic ferries that still operate today. Enjoy!
Stingray Tom's Florida is a history channel with a focus on Florida's tourism history. I cover many aspects of the stories of Florida's attractions, both old and new and how they impacted the Sunshine State, tourists, the US and even the world!

Thanks and welcome! Have you seen the videos I did on thoroughbred horses in Ocala? IDK if you're interested, but since you're in Kentucky, I thought you might like to see how they're raised down here.

@@StingrayTomsFlorida I will watch it! Here in Kentucky the blue grass area is where our thoroughbreds are raised. It’s a combination of the grass and the limestone spring waters with all the minerals that make it so good for the horses.
