- I took my young horse Rosie out for her first hack away from the yard and she did so good even in the torrential weather! Very proud of her :)

4/5 year olds are in my opinion the best to ride as they r still green also teaches them especially if you ended up in a storm like when you did
I loan a 4-5yo atm and he’s honestly good to ride he’s getting a bit lazier but that’s ok I’m getting him out of it
I recently got a 5 year old that’s not broke, after lots of groundwork he had his first time with a saddle on yesterday and did FANTASTIC.

She did so good for being such a baby! Honestly when they take a disliking to a certain track and won’t go down it there’s nothing you can do other than get off! I saw them having a little look on the bit after you went past the electrical(?) thingy and neither of them wanted to go so I’m very impressed that they went 😂 honestly if they see 1 too many invisible monsters that track is a no go 😩

Took me back to my riding days - top of the Welsh mountains seeing a storm coming down The Valley and trying to get back to the yard before we got completely drenched - water filling my boots as we rode down, or riding the whole day in the rain desperate for a pub open that did hot food to warm us up, paying with a soaking wet £10 note that had been on the inside pocket of my inside waterproof jacket lol, getting back into the saddle with jodhpurs and knickers so wet they squelched. Oh the joys. Nice to know I wasn’t completely mad xxxx

i'm 14 years old and i have been riding with lunge for my whole life (cause i was pretty young and weak) and after a break i'm riding without lunge, i am very stressed to go riding everytime cause i make a lot of mistakes

I keep beeing amazed over the wonderful hacking surroundings you have in England! Here in northern Sweden there are a lot of big forests, so most often we only can hack around on snarrow walking paths. I wish we had those kind of fields to gallop over! :D

I'm a western rider and I was taking my gelding on a trail ride with my sister, out of know where it started thundering raining and all the sorts. Of course we turned around and was on our way home. That was until we took the wrong turn and got lost. We made it back home about 3 hours later LOL, it took that long because we got off our horses and waited the storm out.. Anyways Rosie did great in the storm have a good day :)

I freaked out internally when I dropped it😂 but it was either the horse running off or my cheap bridle getting a bit wet (it was already soaked from rain anyway!) x
