I'm looking at this because my Hero 5 is dead, just over a year in. I was wondering if I should get the Hero 6 for the same price I paid last year, or save some money and get the Hero 5 again.
Fucking hell there are so many things i love about this. The fact that we are as far that a fucking hand size camera can shoot 4K 60FPS, your intro, how fucking awesome the footage looks... man
OphelieMinou i skipped the 5 and got the 6 last week when it came out. I still have the 4 black but the 6 is a reall upgrade from the 4 and just a little jump from the 5, if you care so much abt the 4k 60fps and also 2.7k at crazy 120fps!
Awesome skiing skill! Good quality footage but id stick with 2.7k 120fps and use twixtor if i really want to get the super slomo. Just because id like the extra pixel compared to the 1080 :)

Hi Alex, great super video. Quick question, When I had the Hero 4 I was using GoPro Studio to convert videos from 120fps to 30fps, 60fps to 30fps so I can get the awesome slow-motion. Now with the new hero 6 shooting in HEVC (H265) format, the Gopro Studio is not working with that extension and I don't know which software i can use now. I did update my 27-inch 5K iMac (2015-2017) with the new IOS High Sierra and at least i can play the video. If you can give me some help I'll be super grateful. Thanks
Ignacio Casciotta the gopro studio as for now still cant read the hevc codec i hope theill fix this issue soon although i dont use the program often since i always use premiere pro. It reads and edits the files perfectly fine and i do believe the fcp would also works just fine

Lucas Isdahl dont worry, if you dont really care so much about the 4k 60fps and 2.7k at 120fps your not missing a whole lot. Editing those files are pretty heavy on your computer if you dont use proxy editing.

Yeah, the videos are in H.265 format not H.264 like we are used to. The videos on my end look clear but blocky.
oh well i meant the download. it always cancels when downloading from the dropbox, but i think thats an issue with my connection.
Yeah... I had that happen to me the first few times as well. It could be the connection, all though I'm not sure.
worked around it by downloadin every clip on its own one by one instead of the whole zip folder.

der codec ist ziehmlich neu, glaub du musst AE auf der neuesten version haben damit es läuft
